I admired Patroclus. He was brave and talented but humble. He chose to take the war into his own hands instead of trying to force Achilles to do it. He knew it was up to him.

I think he also might have gotten on with Hector if not for the war. They might have been able to find common ground.

I wouldn't do anything like that for a girl, certainly.
