[ the feed opens with a crow's cawing and nico shakes his arm, making the feed bounce as quothed settles there. at first, nico frowns at the bird, and then brightens with a slight smirk. ]

So it's pretty much a supernatural zoo here. We've got vampires and werewolves and incubi. It's kinda strange, because I used to think of them as monsters to kill, but here we're friends.

And I'm wondering something. Does anyone have confirmation from the F.A.T.E.S. that our worlds are rebuilding. Is everything we're doing actually working, or are they lying to us? I want to save my world, save Eudio too, but I'm still skeptical.

Oh, and before I forget. Vex, Rafa- I have something to tell you guys.

[ As soon as Nico answers, the tension keeping Rafa out disappears, and he slides gracefully inside. He comes over to Nico, worried despite the smile he's wearing. ]

Thank you. It is a formality, the first time I enter a residence. But you did not ask me here to speak of vampire technicalities, I think.

You have an update?

[ ah, so his hunch had been right. nico nods and slides his hands into his pockets. ]

Yeah, I found him. Mark. At least, his consciousness, anyway.

[ Mmm. This is not exactly the celebration Rafa had hoped for. ]

So, then he was alive? Why are you unhappy?

[deathkid]

Getting him back won't be easy. And already, I can tell Will is uneasy about me trying. I already got trapped in the void once. He really doesn't want me to get trapped again, even if I could save Mark.

[ Rafa's heart twists. He wants Mark to be saved, and brought here, for Vex's sake.

But he understands Will's position as well. And he knows how Vex loves Nico. How would he react if both Nico and Mark became lost?

Rafa moves forward to touch Nico's hands. ]

I do not want you to get trapped. If it is not safe for you, then you should stop. You must stop.

So tell me truly, Nico. Is Will right to worry?

[ a sigh escapes nico as he closes his eyes. it seems there's no winning when it comes to this, and already will's semi-angry, worried features are forming in his mind should he even think about suggesting going back into the void. ]

I've already been trapped once. And it's possible I could fade trying a jump like that. Without Will there to ground me and keep me from slipping into a shadow coma... I don't know, Rafa. He'll definitely not want me to go.

[ Rafa steps forward. He brushes Nico's hair back from his face, before lifting his hand to give it a little kiss. ]

Then do not go, my friend. Do not cause a problem with Will, and do not risk yourself. Vex would not want that, and neither do I.

[ blinking a little, he looks up at rafa. his ears turn red as his hand is kissed, but he doesn't show any further signs of embarrassment. rather, he reaches out with his free hand to trail his fingers along rafa's cheek. ]

I swear, all of you worry too much about me. But I won't know; I promise. Not until I know for sure I can return.

[ Rafa doesn't hesitate to lean in, rest his hand against Nico's waist and kiss his cheek. ]

You are my friend. I asked too much of you, and I am sorry. You have risked much to do this already, and I will not forget it.

[deathkid]

[ settling a hand on the hand at his waist, nico leans into the kiss. there was a time when he'd balk at such attention, but time has given him the confidence to be comfortable with physical touch. ]

It's fine, Rafa. I'll be alright, I swear. But if you really want to make it up to me, I'm sure we can figure out a way.

[ said with a hint of a smirk curling at the corners of his lips. ]

[ Rafa laughs, pleased by the little smirk. If Nico is making that face, he can't be feeling too poorly.

Rafa tilts his head to brush their noses together, smiling himself. ]

Is that so. I should like to try. Is there...anything in particular, that you would like?

[deathkid]

[ free hand lifting, he settles it on rafa's hip and if the vampire will let him, he'll tug rafa a little bit closer to repeat the brushing of their noses. ]

Well, it's been a while since I've had one of your famous massages. And I don't think I ever got the chance to return the favor.

[ Rafa slides his arms around Nico's waist, fitting them neatly together. ]

So let me get this straight, [ He says, raising his eyebrows. ] You want me to make it up to you, by letting you massage me?

[ His smile turns to a little smirk. ]

That sounds more like a gift for me, Nico my friend.

[ a smirk begins to form at the corners of his lips. it's been a while since he's been intimate with rafa and while he's always enjoyed the vampire having his way with him, nico can't help but want to turn the tables a little. so in his head, it is a gift to him. ]

Depends entirely on how we decide to end the massage. Honestly- [ he hooks a finger under rafa's chin, tilting it up. ] I'll admit to having an ulterior motive.

[ Rafa's looks up, smiling a little. He leans in, hands sliding over Nico's hips, and he kisses him softly. It has been a while since they were intimate. Too often Rafa thinks of Vex alongside Nico, and he shouldn't. They had a connection of their own, quite aside from that. ]

All right. [ He says, when he leans back. ] I would like that. You can do as you like to me.
