Characters: Kara and you!
Summary: hey so Kara's here and confused. [idk, intro log, come meet her!]
Date(s): Backdated to between Halloween and the war event, some nebulous time in there.
Warnings/Notes: nothing for now!
[as Kara sputters back into existence and consciousness, the - new - world around her is blurry. Which is really weird since Kara's never felt dizziness before. But, everything is spinning.
She sits on the shore, as soon as she can reach it, holding her head, and she blames the dizziness on the fact that she thinks she sees a... Lumir? Is that even right? She had one as a pet from the southern isles of Plektop, near the Astro Gardens.
She thinks it's smiling at her.
Before she can say anything to it, she's being told all this new information - she's on a new planet? But she was just on Earth, she doesn't...
When the crap did Lumirs even learn how to speak?
And the name it gives - Astrad... Kara swallows, looking away. It's eerily similar to her pet, the one she'd had as a child, that she'd named Astra after her aunt. But, Astra's dead, and Kara is apparently on a new planet, and she can't dwell on any sort of thing like that. Not when there is something out there destroying... whatever the Multiverse is. It sounds like the breaches into other dimensions that Barry has told Kara all about. Other Earths.
Kara struggles to her feet and staggers towards the city, according to this map that Astrad has shown her. Something's not right here. If this is another Earth, then she should feel fine. But she doesn't. She's woozy and confused, and every step feels like she's slogging through quicksand, not just walking along a sunny beach.
Kara wrings her cape out behind her as she reaches the city, patting her drying hair back from her face, and tries to look a little less like a drowned rat.]
Um. Hello? Can anyone tell me what's going on here?
[Well. Let's hope no one here has a vendetta against Supergirl.]

Who's in a suit of armor, motorized, repulsors on the bottoms of his boots, on the palms of his gloves. The helmet mask is a rather formidable face, with a grimly cut line for his mouth and narrow, lit-up slits for his eyes, but maybe the bright colors of him are reassuring enough, as he starts to descend by her. Leaves and dirt blowing up below. Clank. He lands squarely on the dirt and straightens.]
Let me guess, [he says, his voice in an odd digital tone.] You're new.
