02 💻 Bona fide hustler making my name
Characters: Darlene Alderson & YOU!!! (yes, you!!)
Summary: Darlene Alderson out and about the world of Xistentia. Basically this will act as an open log for the month of November, for both current CR and building new CR! Come one, come all!
Date(s): All through November
Warnings/Notes: Brief mention of drug use, but otherwise check the subject headers for anything else.
[ In an attempt to try and be a more sociable person, Darlene's been trying to make more connections with the people in Xistentia. Attending parties (or rather... party, although she doesn't remember much of it with how drunk she'd been that night.) and actually going out of her way to try and make civil conversations with people
Which is quite a feat for Darlene Alderson, who very rarely has a civil conversation with the one person that she likes.
In an attempt to make the Alderson home more welcoming, Darlene has purchased a welcome mat (which may or may not still be there, as Elliot has a habit of taking and hiding it whenever he notices it has returned to its spot.). So, if you're passing by and notice it, go ahead and give a knock, Darlene might even invite you in for a bite to eat, or a round of an arcade game of your choosing.
Careful, though, she's been honing her skills for quite a while now. ]
[ Of all the people in the multiverse, the top two who should have never been put in charge of a place of business are Darlene and Elliot Alderson, but in this upside-down world of Xistentia they have done exactly that!
Enter Fsociety Theaters -- previously named Fun Society for the entirety of one whole day before Darlene ceremoniously removed the U and N from the building. -- a four projection theater showing only the best films that the movie industry has to offer.
(The best films the industry has to offer if you're a fan of cheesy 80s B movies and made for TV sci-fi flicks.)
The customer service leaves something to be desired; the films don't always start on time, the ticket booth and concession stand are sometimes abandoned or unstocked, and most complaints about things are usually met with nothing more than an eye roll, a "Well, you can go somewhere else, then.", or an awkwardly uncomfortable stare depending on which Alderson you come across.
When she's not providing sparkling customer service Darlene can usually be found in the far back row on one of the theaters, her feet propped up on the seats in front of her and in some state of drunk and/or high. Come and plop down next to her, who doesn't enjoy a little company with their cinematic experience? ]
Anything that strikes your fancy! I'm more than happy to provide closed starts for anyone that would like them. Feel free to ping
unnideul to discuss potential things.

( TWO )Fsociety theaters

closed to Elliot
Which she did, one in particular now boasting her initials on the high score list.
Just as their revolution bearing the same name, the idea to run a movie theater had been one created on a whim. A conversation between the pair of siblings that had quickly taken the form of something real. Nothing one minute and there the next.
(At least this Fsociety couldn't cause too much chaos -- Darlene's movie choices aside.) ]
Alright, so what are we thinking about... Motel Hell, The Slumber Party Massacre, Ninja Terminator, and a double feature of It's Alive and It Lives Again? [ Darlene picks up one of the film reel cases and looks over the title scrawled on one side. ] Ninja Terminator doesn't really fit the theme here, but I think we can swing it.
