Characters: Rosie, Vanyel, and Farraige
Summary: Rose has four years of lost time to make up for with her boyfriends.
Date(s): 11/25
Warnings/Notes: NSFW
[ Though Farraige had found her first on the beach, her recently re-acquired memories drove her homeward. Home. It was such a strange thing to think. After four years, she suddenly felt split between this world and her own. There were matters she hated to leave behind, hated to think that she was abandoning. She hated more the realization that they meant she'd have to part ways from Vanyel and Farraige eventually.
She doesn't say it. Rose only thinks it, as she takes Farraige's hand as if to tether herself to him. As if somehow it'll mean that she won't lose him from her mind again. It unnerved her, honestly, how in a blink she'd forgotten only to remember. Another thing she doesn't actually say, but will stick in the recesses of her thoughts for months to come. ] We have to see him, [ she says and knows that the water mage will know who she's talking about.
It doesn't take long. At some point, she goes back to the blond they both know better. Funny enough, this form is more abnormal these days. So much has changed. Nothing has changed. It's still bizarre. Either way, she's walking through the threshold of her Xistentia home and calls, ] Honey, I'm home!
[ She has to try and bring a little levity to the situation. Before she'd even entered, however, the dogs would have alerted Vanyel to someone approaching. Now they all swarm Rose at the door like a fuzzy hivemind with noses pressed to her and tails wagging like motors. They missed their mom and the one of their own too. ]
