They've got electric lights on strings ( WINTER WONDERLAND BALL )
[ If Peter has noticed one thing about Xistentia, it’s that F.A.T.E.S. really enjoys partying. Not that he has any real complaints about that, he’s more than happy to join in the festivities and mingle amongst the locals.
It wasn’t as though he did all that much partying back in his own world. Peter Parker wasn’t exactly at the top of the invite list for most things. He and Ned both lingered near the bottom of that list, to be quite honest.
So, in his most festive ugly Christmas sweater and Santa hat, Peter dives headfirst into as many of the activities as he can; piling plates high with different foods and desserts to shovel into his mouth, playing various holiday themed games, maybe even attempting to dance along to the music playing (which, isn’t very danceable, but that doesn’t seem to stop him.), and every now and then going to take a few curious peeks at the wishes of others.
He’s a friendly and talkative kid, so don’t be surprised if striking up a conversation with him becomes anything but a quick chat. ]
Making Christmas, making Christmas is so fine ( WHOVILLE )
[ Peter had heard about these different worlds before. Just before he had found himself in Xistentia, someone had told him of a world that was similar to his own that many of the others had visited.
But this place? This place doesn’t look at all familiar to him — which bursts Peter’s tiny and brief bubble of hope that somehow there was a way back to somewhere similar to his own home.
That’s not to say that Peter isn’t curious, though. Once he gains his bearings, he makes his way into the rather festive town. Lights are being rehung from nearly every curvy and somewhat nonsensical shaped home, tinsel sparkles and twinkles as the who go about redecorating.
(And after a few conversations with them, he realizes that the same green guy from the party is the culprit here. The Grinch, they call him.)
Peter more than happily lends a hand in the decorating, helping out the Who as much as he can — and in kind, happily accepts their gratitude in the form of food. — he can always use a few extra hands, why not come join him? ]
There are children throwing snowballs, instead of throwing heads. ( CLOSED TO NED )
[ Peter should probably be a little more concerned about the fact that he’s been once again ripped from the world that they've come to know and dropped into an entirely new one.
But, the moment that he lands in Whoville, with his best friend and partner in science crime right along with him, the sixteen-year-old can’t help but feel a sudden rush of excitement.
Snow. Snow Everywhere.
And not like the slushy, dirty stuff that begins to accumulate on the sidewalks in Queens as people continue about their days — there seemed to be nothing that kept New Yorkers down, be it an alien invasion or a snowstorm. ]
Whoa.
[ It’s all Peter manages to get out before he’s scooping up a handful of snow — in his bare hands, the icy chill of it be damned! — molding it quickly into the best snowball that he can and chucking it directly at Ned. ]
Think fast, Ned!
( WILDCARD )
