For Rafaello;

[For Rafa, there is a small, tidy package tied up in classic brown paper and twine, the bow very securely knotted on top. In fact, a little too securely. Who on Earth tied this knot? In the end, it requires cutting or snapping instead of simply pulling it free by one end, because it's simply too tightly wound. As if a sailor had done it.

Within, there are two items wrapped in fabric. The first is a bell jar full of sea shells, all of which are very beautiful-- including iridescently-centered abalone equivalents and perfectly formed sand dollars. It's pretty, but who knows!

The other is a knife, elaborately engraved with an arabesque pattern and smoothly handled sections of some gleaming shell or stone. It's not the biggest knife, and would likely fit into a boot, but clearly of very strong make.]
