[Such a strange spectacle. It almost feels childish, the words out of Loki's mouth, but that's not true is it? He's known plenty of full-grown men who had fucked up in their lives. Hurt people. Not mass-murder levels of hurt, but nonetheless— extramarital affairs, labor exploitation, hitting kids, racist shit, saying nasty shit about being a woman to women who didn't want to hear it. People know better, and they don't want to face the fucking music. The wealthy are as, if not more prone to it than anyone else. Money tends to insulate you from having people call you on your shit, unless you happen to have Pepper Potts.]

If I wanted you to suffer, I would be developing some kind of grand machine to make my desires a reality. I kind of have the knack for that.

[Does he really think a conversation with Tony Stark is going to change Loki in any real way? He doesn't know. Maybe not. It'd be stupid to hope for it. But considering they're allied against the end of not one apocalypse, but the apocalypse of all apocalypses, the summary ending of reality, it's probably better to have some information on his attitudes toward past misdeeds and their relevance to future ones.

He shrugs his robo hands. Swizz swizz.]

If it wouldn't change anything, you'd do it. You don't like your big brother now more than you did before his little awakening?
