She was usually only struck by an Echo vision of an enemy's past, though there were rare occasions where she was granted memories of her allies and only ones of those moments was on purpose.
Era was also usually only struck by a memory vision once or twice a moon, if not less. So even with the irregularities she's experiencing with her powers she is not expecting another one so soon after her experience with Kavinsky. ]
