[ Exactly none of Janus' checklist was met, as Vex was far from broken, frightened or alone. In fact, he had been fairly confident through that entire ordeal that Rafa was on his way to rescue him- as love was a hell of a motivator. He groaned as if Janus was the most inconvenient houseguest he could ever possibly have, and really it was one hell of a situation because he was going to have to play hero and rescue the little blighter and he was shit at playing hero! ]

Rafa! Will you listen to me for one bloody moment!?

[ He was doing his damned best to stand, but that was difficult given how long he'd been tied up and how dizzy the drug made him. He reached out to grab the back of Rafa's shirt with his unbusted hand and tugged insistently- before Rafa pulled away from his grasp. ]
