A pet?

[ He says, skeptically. Without doubt, this is an argument that would work better were Rafa still a vampire. Then, he would remember having thralls in his lifetime, and would remember feeding from them, playing with them, and generally, in every way that mattered, keeping them as pets.

This Rafa lacks that experience. He has followers, not servants, and certainly not slaves. That would be against everything he believes in, everything he fights for. ]

[ Of course, as he says all this, he's getting worked up again. He turns to Janus, this time focusing on the bullet he'd placed in their shoulder. Rafa's eyes narrow, and the bullet very precisely moves, driving itself towards Janus' collarbone. Rafa brings it against the bone and presses, not enough to break but certainly enough to hurt. ]
