i tried.
mom had to ban it from the apartment once, because i thought it would be a good idea to cover the entire bath in it.
i think i was trying to be a mermaid.

That's certainly one way to transform into a mermaid. And not, I think, an unreasonable goal for a young person, hm?

How long did that ban last?

about a week.
i started sneaking it into my pockets and it messed with the washer.
i mean now mom's totally a-okay with the glitter. and mermaids.

Better the bathtub than the washing machine, is that it? I've never had to deal with removing it from either manually, I confess.

i don't think i'd have been able to resist knowing a warlock.
not that i would abuse you for bathroom cleaning powers.

I might not be keen on cleaning everyone's bathroom, but I have had this thought that enchanting some glitter so it magically vanishes after a set period of time might not be such a bad idea.

When you put it that way, I'm suddenly motivated to begin working on this project again.

I wonder how dear Jace will react. If I had to guess, I suspect he's not a fan of glitter.

maybe he just needs more of it in his life.
enough to cover him from head to toe.

Let's see, he's around my height... I've covered myself in glitter head-to-toe once or twice, so I have an idea of the volume we're talking about.

we'd just need to set a trap.
but if we tell him someone was doubting his prowess he'd come running.

You're pretty ruthless, aren't you, Clary Fray?

And so chipper about it, too! While we're in the realm of glitter-related pranks, you have my wholehearted support, my dear. [ And no doubt in other areas too, but "glitter-related pranks" is where the conversation has led them. ]

Well, it's certainly harmless as pranks go, I would think. Yes, you've won me over to your cause, biscuit. I will help you cover Jace in glitter.

maybe make it so it doesn't wash off for a little while???

I will make sure it is appropriately annoying, but hopefully not so much that anyone feels the need to seek revenge.
