Kaz would like to say he's never freaked out in his life, but that wouldn't be strictly true. He just does his best to make sure that no such weakness ever overtakes him again, even if sometimes it churns beneath the surface. At any rate, in this instance he just shakes his head lightly.

"Are you not human? That doesn't "freak me out"," he adds, reassuringly. "But it's interesting, that you can control you appearance that way." There are face tailors in his world, but they're rare and powerful and it's not at all the same as the easy way Zeke refers to 'keeping them brown'.

Another thing they don't have in his world? Germany. "It's... Kerch." He literally chose it off the side of a shipping container so it's not really anything but he considers Kaz Brekker to be from Ketterdam and so it's Kerch. Nobody here has heard of his world anyway, so what does a little bullshit matter?
