[ For those very few people here who might know Katniss, she's been oddly quite the past couple of months because the player had an unexpected and lengthy hiatus whoops. She's been spending time exploring the area in depth, trying to get a good feel for the land, and has also been scouting out good hunting spots. Not to mention the research and observation she's been trying to do to understand the wildlife of the area better.

As she's making her way back to the place she's squatting and calling home, Cinnad decides to broadcast for her and judging by the way she's ignoring the daemon, a bird-like creature held in one hand, quite obviously a recent kill from her trip into the woods. ]

2 TRUTHS AND A LIE

1. I have a good singing voice.
2. I taught myself how to shoot a bow.
3. I don't know what pizza is.

One Of These Is A Lie

[ When she hears the sound of a message being sent, Katniss looks over her shoulder, brow furrowed. The furrow turns into a deep scowl as she reads through the broadcast. ]

I swear, I'm going to find someone to reprogram you so you can't post things without my permission. Or, better yet -- [ she reaches out to swat Cinnad with her empty hand but he steps back easily, the feed jostling somewhat ] -- I'll find a way to cook you.

It could be worse, [ Cinnad offers. ] I could have shared something truly personal.

Not originally, but that's where I was when everything started falling apart.
I'm not surprised you've heard of it, though. I think a lot of the people there ended up here.

And are you working with the organization here to save Eudio or your original world? It seems like excessive burden to be doing both.

Panem. My original world. Although if I help save Eudio in the process, I wouldn't be upset.

[ After all, the representatives there said they could bring her loved ones back to life or keep them from dying in the first place, and that's not something she'll give up easily. ]

Where are you from?

A harbor city called Ketterdam on an island called Kerch. It's very, very different to here.

So is Panem.

[ There are some similarities - some to Eudio, as well - but mostly the Capitol. District 12 was nothing like this. ]What is Kerch like?

Miserable. I loved it anyway. And Ketterdam is a squalid port city run by rich merchants who are incapable of seeing the suffering all the little people right beneath their noses, the difficulties of those who allow them to live so easily. I grew up in the poorest area in town. I'm not sure this city even has a place like it.
