01 🕷 Well I may be just a fool, but I know you're just as cool
Characters: Peter Parker & You!!
Summary: Basically an open log for Peter for the month of October! Including various places around Xistentia, his house and everywhere in between!
Date(s): October
Warnings/Notes: Nothing off the bat, but watch the subject headers just in case.
[ Peter Parker has managed to settle into Xistentia fairly well -- or at least, as well as one can settle into a place that's completely new to them -- he spends his days exploring the city, introducing himself to the locals, or searching the various shops for supplies. And spends his evenings in the warehouse-style home that his daemon had led him to upon his arrival, working on various projects and experiments.
Some of which go well and some of which go.... not so well.
This day, however, it's likely that you'll find Peter taking a break from all his "hard work" (although, there's definitely a few bandaids on his fingers and a small burn on his arm from where a things had gotten just a little out of his control) to enjoy the returning nice weather.
Perhaps you'll come across the teenager grabbing a bite to eat, doing a little bit of shopping, or maybe just stopping to enjoy a little bit sunshine. He's friendly enough that if you come up to him and start making conversation, he'll happily reciprocate. ]
[ Peter's residence is a unique mixture of empty warehouse and studio apartment -- and it should honestly be frightening that a sixteen year old was given free reign to an entire house -- the former of which he quickly turned into something of a workspace. A place where he can perform various experiments, or build new tools (read: toys) for himself.
Although, since he's been in Xistentia, he's had far more projects go wrong than go right, but he supposes that's what he gets for throwing together random mystery items that he's found with things that he's familiar with.
Luckily for Peter Parker, however, things haven't gotten too out of control.
.... That is, unless you happen to be walking by the set of open doors on this fine day and catch the brunette teenager in the middle of trying to put out a literal fire (hopefully not on his person, or please lend him a hand.... or some water.), whispering at chemicals not to overflow all over the place (they, of course, do not listen.), or yelling 'everything is fine' (as though he is a walking, talking version of a meme.)
Help a poor kid out, will you? ]
[ Anything that strikes your fancy! I'm more than happy to provide starts, or you can ping
unnideul if you'd like to plot something specific. ]

I. around the city

i. city
Movement on the left side. That would be: Fridayd, Tony's rather awkward-looking android daemon. She sits clumsily on the stool, then immediately knocks over Peter's soda, trying to fold her hands on the table.
"They don't have school here."
no subject
"Mr. Stark? What're yo--" He starts, only to cut the sentence short with a yelp as his soda goes spilling everywhere and Peter scrambles to keep it from making too big of a mess -- especially on himself.
"No, I don't think so...." His words are slow, clear confusion in them. "Are you asking me a question, or are you just telling me that?"
ii. Peter's Home.
Huh. Maybe someone's just really bad at cooking.
Or they're starting a particularly large fire, whoops. Farraige rushes in while conjuring an orb of water, spraying a wide arc of water against the flame. He turned to act so quickly, he barely has time to tell the kid to move.]
Outta the way!

It's actually the result of Peter combining two chemicals that particularly don't like one another. Or, rather, they don't like one another in large quantities.
Despite yelling about how much of a handle he is on everything, it's pretty clear that Peter is doing little more than flailing uselessly while searching for where he'd last left the fire extinguisher.
Or a bucket of water.
Or really anything to smother the flames.
Thankfully, help comes in the form of Peter being shoved aside and a huge wall of water -- the former of which is a little annoyed with, but it's quickly outweighed by the latter and how freaking cool Peter finds it. He'd seen someone manipulate things with their mind before, but he'd never seen someone conjure anything just out of thin air. ]
Thanks for that. [ He finally speaks up once he's back on his feet again. ] That was really cool. [ A beat. ] Nice of you. [ Another beat. ] Cool and nice of you.

[While he might normally be laid back, he's of a completely different mindset when it comes to getting people out of danger. He might look a little sterner than usual, but once he realizes everything is okay, then the puns will come.
Satisfied the flame seems to have been smothered, Farraige turns to properly address Peter. He gives the teen an appraising look, trying to discern either what in the world he was doing to make a blaze that large, or to see if he has any injuries.
Perhaps both.]
Any injuries? I can fix you up too. And maybe you can tell me how that fire got started too. That looked like a bit more than screwing up cookies in the oven.

There must not be very many wizards where I come from, or they're really bad at doing their proper duty.
[ He gives his clothes a quick dusting off -- ultimately he's fine, his sleeves might be a little charred but no serious damage done. At least, not this time around. ]
No, I'm fine. I'm pretty resilient. Probably ruined this shirt, but I can always get another one of those. [ He gives a quick look back toward his now ruined experiment. ] Oh! I was just doing a little experiment, and I got a little overzealous with the mixing.
no subject
[Satisfied he seems to be in no harm, Farraige relaxes a little.]
Don't you think it might be safer to set up a lab with some safety equipment that isn't your own home?
[Pot calling the kettle black, but he isn't doing anything that'll make stuff burn or explode.
Most of the time.]
no subject
[ Which is definitely something that he can relate to. There's an aspect of danger that comes along with having any kind of power and exposing it to the world. ]
Probably, yeah. [ Peter rubs the back of his neck, letting out a slightly nervous chuckle. ] But, I had all this space here and, what else was I supposed to do with it, right?
[ Shrug. ]
And, it was a lot more convenient to have it downstairs. Plus, I've got a fire extinguisher [ He looks around, head on a swivel. ] ..... Somewhere around here.
no subject
[He looks around, pondering for a moment.]
Could've thrown a big party. Sometimes those are less flammable.
[At that his lips curl into a bemused smile.]
Maybe next time find out where that is first before doin' something like this.
Closed to Ned ; Peter (and Ned's!) home
Today, Peter's giving Ned the grand tour of what's going to be their shared home. And, to be fair, it's still way too big for the two of them, but Peter's sure they'll find a way to make use of all the extra space. ]
Okay, this is basically a living room? [ Although, it doesn't have much more than a couch, a television and a few decorations. ] Or just, the room where I don't sleep and do everything else. We've got a lot of rooms, so you can just pick whichever one you want. Stuff kind of just appears in it, I guess? I'm not really sure.

It's way cool. Everyone back at home would be totally jealous that they're getting to have their own place with no adults and basically just be awesome on their own. He does sort of miss Aunt May... and his own family already and it hasn't even been that long! ]
Whoa. How does stuff just appear?? [ He's expecting Peter to know these things, okay. And if he doesn't they're going to have to work to figure it out. He turns around in a slow circle taking in the space more which is pretty cool. ]
no subject
(Or, at least, that's what he made of the explanation he got when he arrived.)
He shrugs at Ned's question however. He's yet to figure out how things just find their way into the house. When he'd first come across it, it had been full of foliage -- vines and branches growing from practically everywhere -- but within a few days only very little of it remained. As though it had just moved on to a new location. ]
I don't really know, honestly. But when I got here, there was literally nothing. Just leaves and grass and stuff like that, and then one day it wasn't there anymore and there was stuff instead.
[ Another shrug. ]
It's something alien, definitely not from our world.
[ And their world already actually contained aliens. ]
no subject
This place should obey the basic laws of science...right? Maybe...
Actually, Ned's not so sure. ]
That's so cool...and weird.
[ Ned looked around again and then shrugged. They'd figure it all out eventually because they're an awesome team like that. ]

[ Peter grins over at his best friend, his expression so wide that he's practically beaming. For as much as he knows they need to save their own world and get back to it, and for as much as he really would like to see all their friends and family again (well, maybe not Flash.), Peter is actually pretty excited to be in this new place.
It's much further than he's ever traveled all on his own and it feels like an entirely new adventure. Especially now that he has Ned here to explore it with him. ]
Mr. Stark made it here too, he's from the same time as me, or sometime close to it...
[ Then his head tilts to the side as he looks at Ned curiously. ]
What's the last thing you remember, anyway?
no subject
Same time...[ Ned ponders that for a moment and then nods. ] Makes sense.
Well, I was in the Washington monument.
no subject
But, of course, Peter ignores these complaints. ]
Weird. That had already happened for me.
[ He thinks it over for a few moments. ]
You know, I always had a feeling that the multiverse theory was true -- I mean, with how big the entire universe is, why couldn't there be another one that's an exact replica of our own? Or ones that are completely different from our own. I mean, have you heard about some of the places the people here come from? Some of them sound nothing like Earth, or any other planet.
no subject
He's so curious though! He refrains from asking just yet. ]
It'd basically been confirmed already, right? What with aliens and everything. So, what happened at the monument?
[ Turns out he couldn't refrain all that long! ]
