The last thing he remembers was a misstep in the Danger Room, falling toward (possible) certain doom and then a portal. Waking in an ocean wasn't something he'd planned for, gaining this strange thing called a 'daemon' isn't either, but most of all: he's certainly going to do everything in his power to avoid all this rain.
Seeking shelter wherever possible? There won't be any hesitation on this guy's end.]

i've been to places where it rains a lot, but honestly, this almost seems a little ridiculous.

oh, and if anyone could give me more detailed information about this place, i'd greatly appreciate it. the map's helpful, yet ... [It's not a complaint, honestly!]

if that's the case, i'd like to hear more about the people that i'll be living with and around.
there's much to be learned when it comes to other worlds or so it would seem.

You're right! There's a great deal we can glean from each other, even if it's ultimately not something we can take back with us. We'll always have the memory, won't we? And who knows how much good it will do us to work together while we're all still here. It might be one reason we're gathered together in this city in the first place. What we can do for each other might be of key importance.
In that case, I'll be glad if we cross paths, assuming he does make an appearance! He sounds like he's had a positive impact on your life. [ Might be he's already a bit fond of Kurt from their brief interaction. ]

Ah, yes. Assumptions get everyone in trouble, in my experience. With that in mind, what I said is just a loose theory, but I think it has some merit. At least, I don't think it can hurt to try and band together, do you?
