Sort of but then there's like the accepted by a large group definition of cool and everything.

I am assuming this situation does not involve war, thus I would find companions who accept me as I am now. I doubt I would enjoy the company of someone who does not appreciate me without change.

That would be my suggestion to you as well. Seek companions you could see yourself remaining beside for years to come.

I definitely wouldn't. He's much cooler than me now and he hasn't forgotten me. He's pretty awesome like that so I'd have to be as good to him.
