They were careless. Humanity is nothing but pawns of a game for entertainment to them.

Yes. But I wonder if that was the sole limit of their carelessness.

What exactly do you mean by that?

I mean that Gods are difficult to divine. I am not saying they do not make mistakes, but they rarely allow such things to happen beyond their control.

I have become fairly certain that they have abandoned humanity to the cycle of the games without maintaining any order any longer.

Their whims are problematic.

All whims tend to be problematic. They are desires and easily twisted.

It does not mean you take the extreme opposite though.

I do not find myself to be extreme.

Because deep down, everyone is dictated by how they feel.

That is a broad statement.

I believe there are some that feel nothing at all, though.
