He's been pretty cool as far as I can remember and my friend has an internship thing with him.

Then I was correct. You need to be at least thirty to be considered adult. And I am being generous with that estimate.

That is literally the definition of special.

That's not the point about whether it definitely means someone or something is boring or not. I'm not saying you're boring -- maybe you are, maybe you aren't but being different doesn't mean interesting.
