Ah. Yeah, that makes sense. I don't know a lot about any music scene, past or my present, but I get that. I did something similar, when I decided to stay in Denver when I finished my first project.

[She had moved to Denver for SGC originally, but she knew she'd stayed with it for Nick. Would she have followed him, if he'd gone back to California when Gloria died instead of chasing the chevron? Maybe. She doesn't know how to feel about that. But she definitely can't judge anyone else for wanting it.]

I'd imagine New York would be a good place for a journalist, though. I mean, most of my knowledge of that field is only from movies and things, not much real. I know where I'm from it's still got enough people from everywhere that the one time I went I didn't get stared at.

I don't think I'd ever tell him if I did. I probably wouldn't even be able to find him, but I just...like the idea of not having an ocean between us, even if I never see him again.

[Someday, maybe, he'll tell her what he wished for when he first arrived at Eudio, but not until they're in person and alone. He ignores the thought, for now.]

You still know more about it than I do. I only know what I've seen on telly or read about in the paper.
