Fantasy Job(s): I am happy with the jobs I currently have, but I have heard rumour of mages in red and would like to learn their arts.

Current Job(s): I am an adventurer, a Scholar, Summoner, White Mage, Astrologian, Paladin, Black Mage, Ninja, Dragoon, Bard, Monk, Marauder, Culinarian, Alchemist, Armorer, Blacksmith, Weaver, Goldsmith, Leatherworker, Miner, Fisher, and Botanist. I am only a master in a small selection of these jobs however. In terms of non-combat skills my best are goldsmithing, leatherworking, and botany. My best combat skills are those based on the magical arts, particularly healing.

I also hunt elite marks for the Grand Companies and the Centurios. I am a First Lieutenant within the Eorzean Grand Companies, and a Scion of the Seventh Dawn.

I am by no means a master in all of these jobs, but I suppose once you learn one method of physical combat the rest come much more easily. The same can be said for magical combat.

Perhaps when there is no longer such a dire need for constant improvement of my fighting skills I will be able to become more than a mere amateur in most disciplines of crafting.

I may be able to teach you a few of the paladin skills I know. You may not have a soul stone of a paladin yet you certainly have the soul of one, according to what I have been taught by my mentor.

I am as well as can be expected, given the circumstances.
Did you locate your apartment? I was able to find mine with relative ease thanks to Haurchefantd.

I've yet to take up any practices of the land or hand though I doubt another time as opportune as this will present itself.

That is good to hear. [ waitamoment ] And I was not aware we had apartments. It seems to have slipped Emmy's mind.

I believe the only reason I have picked up such a variety of skills is that having no memories certainly leaves a lot of space to for new skill sets.

Regardless, I could assist you with some of the disciplines of land and hand. Perhaps fishing? It is not my best skill, but I think you would enjoy it. And mayhap the basics to crafting and caring for your own armor?

Fishing does sound like a rather relaxing activity.
And it would behoove me to learn about armor repair in the face of no menders - present company excluded, of course - for the foreseeable future.

Fishing can occasionally be incredibly frustrating. Mostly is it very enjoyable. Should your equipment be damaged in any way before you are capable of repairing it yourself I will gladly do so for you. Though I am certain you will pick the craft up quickly enough.

I should hope mostly for better.

If it still refuses to be useful, I will make sure your deamon guides you to your supposed to be residence.
While I'm certain your capabilities in living off the land are second to none, I think it'd be at the least a bit more comfortable of a living situation than the forest.

For the most part, yes.
Despite the circumstances, however, I do hope you'll take some time here for a much needed respite from the stress of your usual realm-saving responsibilities.

It is still very useful and defends my back when I am harvesting. It is just not very helpful.
I think it will be more strange to sleep someplace comfortable. The beds are not overly soft are they? Though I suppose a few hours every now and then will be bearable regardless.

[ translation: beds are too comfortable to be comfortable but i only sleep occasionally so it wouldn't be too extended a time of discomfort. because who has time for sleep and comfort anyway?? not the warrior of light ]

In return I shall make sure you are not overworked either. I'll craft a fishing rod for you by midweek.

There are no wars currently, nor are my companions at risk of death. Without those worries I am all but stress free.

[ let's all just pretend eorzea is fine and dandy and not in the midst of the next great calamity. ]

Not in my opinion, no.
They are rather standard. In fact, the building is still a bit dilapidated. But I've noticed at least my living space becoming a bit more put together since I arrived.

And I would like to see it remain that way, if possible. I don't think I am the only one of the belief that perhaps sometimes you take on far more than you should.

Before it became one of these 'daemons' it was rather fond of culling hostile dragons within dungeons. I don't believe that is quite what you were referring to, however.

Swords and magic, yes.

I sleep a few hours whenever I am able. A few times a sennight in most cases.
