[he's recovered well enough that he takes the rest of what she tells him in stride. it's not a traditional arrangement. but haneul grew up with only a mother, and that wasn't considered traditional where he was from either. he doesn't look down on non-traditional paths, will never pass judgments the way people thought it was okay to judge her]
