THE EXISTENTIAL MONTHLY
Scandal at Succy's.
Written by Jughead Jones.

Fine meals were paired with a plethora of willing bodies several months ago when the succubus Mora hosted a dinner at her lavish home. However, the erotic events were interrupted by a cohort of other demons hoping to distract visitors from the intruders' true goal. Theft was the name of the game and as far as this reporter has been able to find, they've been successful. Mora has been tight-lipped on the nature of the stolen items, but given her nature, it likely has something to do with sex. According to those on the scene, pheromones and other chemical enhancements filled the air, prompting many to act outside their norm. This provided all the cover the thieves needed. If you have further information regarding the theft, you're asked to contact [personal profile] succy.

Thrown into the Ring
Written by Betty Cooper.

"It was like nothing I'd ever experienced," said one member of the Servos class, a group segregated from the wealthier Primus class as part of the most recent Prison World. Those who either had no romantic partner or were not wealthy were placed in an arena and forced to battle to the death. "I have blood on my hands now. Something I never wanted," said Nico di Angelo (19).

Meanwhile, as the Servos fought, the Primus lived the high life. Wealthy members of this class were known to even hold slaves while others were more content with one or more spouse. Together, they would frequently watch the Servos combat in the arena, looking on as innocent people were slaughtered. However, there were some that disagreed. "I enjoyed it when it was fair combat. When two warriors of equal measure test their mettle against each other it is an admirable sport.

I did not enjoy it when the organizers of the battle became involved. They resorted to underhanded tactics to sway the battle in favor of some parties, rather than others. I assume to add a more 'wild' element to the battle for the thrills of a mindless audience.

Their methods disgusted me and I lodged a formal protest," said Ignacio (∞), a vampire who had been a Primus at the time. Part of his efforts including saving two combatants from the battles.

He was not alone in his efforts. Reports have come in of an anonymous detractor, one who posted protest posters all over the city. Though neither had a huge impact on the government, both were an example of the people here who are ready to fight.

She is not the one who interviewed me. However, she did format our conversation in a decent manner. The symbol used for my age amused me.

'Impossible'? You did not ask me.

What background is available to you beyond my synchr?

I would be surprised, it is true. If there was any way to discover information about the activities of someone before they arrived here in Xistentia, that would be very interesting.

Solved a murder? That is admirable. My congratulations.

True. I only recently discovered I was disclosing an uncomfortable amount of information where I thought it was private and it was not.

Do you publish such things?
sadico: (think)

[personal profile] sadico 2018-03-27 10:04 pm (UTC)(link)
That makes sense. Most of what I have said has not been relevant to the general public.

I appreciate that you do not simply publish gossip.

I am fortunate your friend has not set his eyes on my conversations. That is the exact sort of thing I do not like published.

I will have to ask them. I doubt they will want something very formal.

[ that's interesting considering ignacio is featured in this paper. but loki keeps that to himself. ]

Do you see many of those around?

I see that this was your topic. Was there a reason you did not interview me yourself?
