What is up guys my name is Wyatt, you probably all know that. Unless you're new, in which case, hey! Welcome to the Apocalypse! It's pretty dope here, you probably noticed. I'm telling you, F.A.T.E.S is so cool that he - or she. Or they? I don't know, whatever: they're so cool that they threw a full on multiple-day spanning party just for my birthday. Hey, F.A.T.E.S. -

[ He lifts his glass, filled with an unholy mixture of frothy golden beer, and deep burgundy wine, and salutes the camera. ]

- thank you, my guy. Slash girl. Slash, whatever you are. Hey, you should join us at some point, so that we know what the fuck to call you. Anyways.

[ He takes a drink of his disgusting cocktail, then drops down to sit on a pile of cushions. It's now evident that he's opted not to wear a shirt, but he is wearing cutoff jean shorts. The camera, otherwise known as his daemon Hunterd, follows to keep him in focus. ]

I got a kind of serious thing to talk about. The whole birthday thing has me thinking about, like. Age. And getting older, and shit, which you know, is important when like most of the people you know don't actually do that. When all your friends are like, hundreds of years old and fucking immortal, it puts a new spin on how it feels to be nineteen. I have one year left of teenage dreaming, people. [ He holds up his finger. ] One. So I'm thinking, like. Okay, I'm just gonna ask you, cause that's the whole point of this vlog.

If you had the choice to just not get older, but live forever. Would you do it? Like, is there a con to this pro? I mean, there'd be the whole, 'must drink the blood of the living to survive', deal, but my friends seem to manage okay. Vamps ain't so bad from what I've seen. So, yeah. As for your question, that's... a tough one. I'd say at this point I'd take the opportunity to stop aging and live forever but that's because my situation's kind of. Unique?

[ Wyatt points at her. ]

Anyways aren't you like immortal, anyway? [ It seems to him like they all are. If they're not immortal, then they're long enough lived that they might as well be. ] I thought you were.

Maybe I'll pitch the idea next time I try to get F.A.T.E.S. to give me the musical reins around this place.

[ And maybe next time F.A.T.E.S will actually let her have the helm. It is unlikely but she is extremely determined. ]

I've got a good seven hundred years, give or take, left in me if I'm lucky. But if Vanyel turns, then... He'll outlive me instead of it being the other way around? So either way we both lose right now. But if I could live forever too, that'd be best.

God, please. I don't even think this shit all goes together.

[ He rolls his eyes. Wyatt grew up on human streets in the digital age. He can't imagine what age group this stuff is aimed at, but he knows he's not in it. ]

For real though, you want to both turn? You ever think of that whole, like. Traditional thing where you both get old together? Have a family, have kids that go to school and then drop out cause they ain't gonna make shit out of their lives, but then twenty years later they're putting you in a care home cause they don't wanna visit anymore? It's like, tradition.

It doesn't. At all.

[ She is very adamant about that. ]

I mean, like- Eventually. Maybe. I think we might wanna' do... kids and stuff first, probably? If we do. That's all still a big question mark at this point. If they try to put me in a care home though, good luck. I'm gonna' have a stubborn streak in me until I die I'm pretty sure.

Yeah, well, any kid from you will probably have it too. So good luck, I guess.

[ Wyatt grins. Despite kidding around about this, that part isn't what he ever thinks about when he thinks about kids. ]

I think having a family is like, the most important thing. More than having a mate, even, cause you have a mate for a reason. You should have kids, you'd be a cool mom. You could even do your naked videos, still, and embarrass the hell out of them, you know? That's parental goals right there.

Oh, jeez. I didn't even think about that.

[ She wrinkles her nose at the idea of a child as hardheaded as her. Hopefully, they take more after Vanyel and have intellect and heart. ]

Oh, man, right? I totally want to embarrass the heck outta my kids. I never, uh. I never... got the typical parental experience, so. Kind of hope I can give that to them. Even the parts they won't appreciate as much.

[ He clucks his tongue. ]

I didn't get the typical experience, either. Least not for all my life. Makes me want it more, you know? That whole thing, kids that could rely on me.

You'd be good at it. Especially if you're giving them what you didn't get. That's a hell of a motivator.

[ And isn't that a thought? Rose was worried she was doomed to repeat her parent's mistakes, that it might just be something coded into her DNA.

But she's always been a fighter so she'll fight against going down the path they did. She'll do better. Or, at least, she hopes that she will. ]

It is, yeah. I mean. My parents weren't, like, the worst I'm sure but still- Weren't winning any awards either, so.

Bar's set kind of low. But I do hope I do an alright job if I ever have kids of my own.
