(no subject)

Characters: Rosie, Vanyel, and Farraige.
Summary: Nerds talkin' about feelings and stuff
Date(s): Before the au event
Warnings/Notes: Talk of relationships, language, potentially nsfw!

[This was a conversation a long time coming, when Farraige first learned of Rosie's relationship with Vanyel, he felt like he shouldn't have interfered, especially with the way their relationship went. But he felt himself drawn back to Rosie again and again. The fact that she and Vanyel had an open relationship did make things easier on his conscience. But that would only do for so long. A part of him he didn't want to admit did feel a little possessive for someone that made him feel like she did.

So perhaps it was high time they meet. Farraige didn't like feeling like he was hiding, and he had to admit some part of him felt like something of an outsider. But even with that feeling, he would be unlikely to give up how he felt about Rosie. It was just as well, he had wanted to meet Vanyel in Eudio but circumstances didn't permit. Even if his memory of their conversations had grown a little hazy in the interim, he remembered Vanyel speaking as a stand-up person. With no idea of how time and the change in scenery might have affected him, Farraige hoped he would still be as decent seeming a person as he remembered. It's this moment Farraige finds himself in, waiting for the two to arrive at his home.

[ Rose isn't nervous. Not necessarily. Okay, well. Maybe just a little? It is a big deal, after all, the two men she's involved with meeting like this. Her grip on Vanyel's hand tightens just a little as they draw closer to Farraige's home.

All she wants is for them to get along. She wants this to be enjoyable for all involved. Easy. Fun. Like it has been. Part of her worries that them hashing everything out might change things, that maybe the realization this won't work will become a possibility. She doesn't want to give up anything, but she also doesn't want Farraige to keep feeling like an outsider looking in. It's a strange balance to try and strike but hopefully they can be successful in it.

He's her boyfriend too. Uhm. Not that she's told either of them she started saying as such, so... Y'know, it's probably a good thing they're getting together to talk like this after all.

Hey, dude! [ she'll greet, soon as she steps inside with Vanyel in tow. Cheery as ever, despite herself. Keeping up a front. Old habits die hard, unfortunately. ] Thanks for having us over.
