[ one spirit shifts forward out of the mass, stoops to drink up the blood and then stands again. it seems to be waiting for something, but nico doesn't recognize the ghost. it's no one he's specifically familiar with. ]

Yeah. Ask him questions, if you want.

[ Ask it questions. Wyatt's eyes are suddenly wide. He hadn't computed that they'd be at this point, that it would even be an option.

What do you ask a ghost?

Still, he nods quickly. He can't lose face in front of the Ghost King. ]

Uh, yeah. Right, of course.

Um. Where are you from? How did you die? Is that insensitive, I don't know...I'm sorry of that's incentive, man. Ghost-man.

[ at first all the spirit does is hiss in irritation, clearly not pleased to be there, to be risen, but nico tightens his grip on his sword and barks a quick answer! which the ghost flinches at. ]

[ and this is nico, rolling his eyes. ]

Typical dead guy talk. That enough of a show or did you want to see more?

[ Wyatt had been about to complain that that wasn't a real answer, and Nico does it for him. He shoots the demigod another grin, and moves around beside him. ]

Are you kidding? That's so cool, man. I'm already impressed.

I guess he can go back to remaining, or. However it is you say that.

You are dismissed. [ said to the ghost and he waves his sword through the specter so that it dissipates back into the ground. then, sheathing his sword, he smirks at wyatt. ]

And that's just one of the things I can do.

[ Wyatt's eyes flick over Nico's face, strangely responsive to that smirk. He nods, smiling himself, and goes closer. ]

Well, you got a fan, Ghost King.

What else do you do? [ He nods at the sword. ] You know how to use that?

[ if nico notices the look, he doesn't say anything, instead, he nods too and steps closer as well. ]

Can't say I've ever had fans before. And yes. I promise it's not just an accessory.

[ Wyatt's smile widens. He's a little taller than Nico, and broader, and he hasn't put his shirt on yet. After a second, he moves to do just that. ]

That's cool, too. I ain't ever used a sword. I'd like to, though. maybe you could teach me some time.

[deathkid]

[ yeah, don't mind him as he stares a bit. but he makes it casual with a shrug. then, as wyatt mentions being taught how to use a sword, his brows raise. ]

You want to learn how? It's not easy, mind. You might be better off with those claws of yours.

[bratpack]

[ Wyatt's lips tick upwards. ]

Oh, I'm good with my claws. And my teeth.

But I ain't good without them, and I'd like to be. Don't worry. I'll pay attention.

[deathkid]

[ considers wyatt a moment or two, deliberating on teaching him. he supposes it wouldn't hurt. and if wyatt gets good enough, they can always spar together. ]

Alright, alright. I suppose I could teach you. First thing we need to do, though, is find you a sword that's balanced properly for you.

[bratpack]

[ In fairness, that could be a problem. The city hasn't exactly seemed overflowing with places to find swords. He shrugs, though, and nods happily. ]

Makes sense. I'm stronger than I look. Thanks, Ghost King. That's cool of you.

Oh, I'm sure. [ snorting a little as he shrugs. ] And you can call me Nico. Ghost King is more my title than my name.
