[ Hunter really hates trying to figure out how to text on this keyboard, so he's going to go with a video instead.

Once it starts up, he runs his hand through his hair to push his bangs back, staring into the camera.... eyes of his daemon. ] Is it good? We good?

I am recording, yes. You are "good."

Okay, cool. Sweet. So yeah.... [ Leans back a bit more so he's not directly in the camera's face. ]

Holy fucking shit.

Well, that was one hell of a trip.

So sound off if you're still alive out there? Also sound off if talking into a bunny isn't just a little bit weird. No? Just me? [ He breaks out in a grin and leans in real close to the camera. The sound of fur being ruffled can be heard as his hand settles on the head of the daemon. ] I'm just playing. Mellow knows I like him, don't you Mellow?

It's Marshmellowd. And if you say so, then I know it.

See? [ Leans back, and sighs, looking around at his wild surroundings. Smile fading just a little bit. ] But really, what's up? What can I do to help? Let me know, guys.

[ A pause as he licks his lips and hesitates. Then: ] You're out there too, right Rafa?

[ He has never turned a video on so fast. That voice.

That face.

That smile. ]

Hunter.

[ Rafa's image blurs, and suddenly he's right up beside Kyd's camera. That nervous bleating you can hear would be Kyd's disapproval. ]

You can help by not moving. [ Points. ] Tell me where! Right now. I must find you.

Yeah! [ His grin gets even bigger. ] Fuck yeah. I knew you were here.

I'm on some beach. Where are you at?

[ Rafa's face breaks into an answering grin. His fangs are evident. ]

Running to you. Do not move.

[ In case that wasn't clear the first time. His image blurs again, and this time doesn't get better. It spins, and then moves so fast that it's hard to track the scenery changing around it. Rafa has evidently scooped Kyd up under his arm.

The image rights itself minutes later, when Rafa has run at pace all the way to the beach. Now he lets Kyd guide him, seeking out Hunter's little daemon. As it happens, Rafa sees him before the unicorn completes that mission, and zips straight into Hunter's arms.

And now he's clinging. There aren't any words just yet; just clinging, as his arms snake around Hunter and his face burrows into his chest. ]

Hey! [ Hunter exclaims with a laugh as Rafa's suddenly in his arms. He watched Rafa's journey the entire time, curious how far away Rafa was, but that wasn't important right now.

The world had been ending. All of the worlds, apparently. What mattered is they'd made it... where ever here was together. His arms were tight around Rafa as he brushed back his hair. ]

Hey, hey. What's all this? [ He laughs again, trying to lean back a bit to see Rafa's face. ]

Took you long enough, gorgeous.

[ He said cheerfully, despite his mixed feelings. Was it possible for someone to be extremely happy and yet insanely jealous at the same time? That was Vex right now. ]

Once Rafa lets you go, swing by and have a drink with your old mate, yeah?

[ meanwhile, there are no amount of words to explain his extreme relief at seeing Vex on the screen. his grin is bigger now, however impossible that may seem. it happens all the same. ]

Shit. Is everyone here?

Yeah. Where you at? I'll be over as soon as I get a second, man.

[vexy]

[ It was a perfect set up for a quip, such as 'only the important people' or something like that, but Vex didn't have it in him. He just skipped it instead. ]

You know that beach you first show up at? I have a house near there. I know I'm irresistible, but see Rafa first, or I'll never hear the end of it.

[varou]

You already have a house? You move fast. [ There's another laugh. He's on the beach right now, and he leans back from the bunny to try to look around and see if he can spot the house just from where he is. ] I think I see something way off. That's probably you.

After I meet up with Rafa we'll swing by, yeah?

[ Rose doesn't know Hunter, but. She knew of him in Eudio. She knew Rafa would be happy to see him too, if they weren't already together. ]

Good thing that you made the trip alright, dude. Lot of people are gonna' be glad to see you.

( He gives a casual shrug with somewhat of a smirk. ) Gotta keep things interesting. People get too complacent if they just always expect you to be where you say you're gonna be.

Keeping people on their toes, huh? Not a bad strategy.

Welcome at last, I guess. Got an awful lot of wolves around this place now.

That's what I like to hear. Can't go wrong with even more wolves.

So I'm not the only one who showed up late. Rafa's husband, right? I was at your wedding in Eudio.

[ and nico raises a hand in greeting. ]

Nico, right? ( He gives a little more of an eager wave himself. ) I remember you. Did you just show up, too?

[ a nod. ] Yep, that's me. And no, but I did show up like two weeks after my boyfriend.

[varou]

That's good you two got each other here, at least. Glad to hear you both made it.

( eyyy this guy looks pretty happy to see you. how far he's come. )

Nice to see you, Hunter. Rafa's been here without you too long.

Looks like the whole gang is back together. ( He's totally a grinning fool. ) Nice to see you too, man. Magnus here too?

Yeah, he is. ( his smile softens, but he doesn't look any less pleased. ) Makes it easier to be stuck here with familiar faces to keep you company.

'One hell of a trip' is a very succinct way of putting it! [ Magnus' video feed is still bobbing up and down a bit here as his monster-sized butterfly flutters about. Sorry about that. He doesn't intend to make anyone seasick and Anned probably doesn't either, but it keeps happening. Up and down, up and down.

In a less cheeky tone: ] I'm glad to see you've arrived safely.

( hunter's head may be bobbing a bit with the video until he catches himself and stops. )

Magnus! I knew you couldn't be too far. Glad to you see you too, man.

Figures I'd be the late one. I always am.

[ Before too long, Anned will alight somewhere and the vaguely nauseating feeling of dipping and rolling will cease. ]

You like to make an entrance, don't you? [ He waves a hand, as if dismissing his own remark: just a silly little tease. But there's something to be said there. ] No, truthfully, it's good. It means there are still more people arriving and that's heartening, I think.

[ It's Hunter. That's really Hunter!

Wyatt doesn't even bother to ask where he is. It doesn't matter where he is; Wyatt knows where he's going to be. He's out of his bed, pushing his door open, and shifting into a wolf without another thought. Then he runs for Shane and Rafa's farm, with Hunterd his daemon following after him.

He gets there before Rafa gets back with Hunter, which honestly isn't that much of a surprise. Wyatt heads out to the garden and waits, spending his time pacing around Shane's vegetable patches.

Then he catches the right scent, and perks back up again. As soon as Hunter is in sight, Wyatt runs for him. Without pause or explanation, he tackles Hunter, pushing him to the ground and then pinning his shoulders while he licks his face. Beside him, Rafa laughs softly, and excuses himself. He heads for the house, giving them space while Wyatt gets reacquainted with his dad. ]

[varou]

Ooph! ( hunter exclaims loudly when the younger wolf collides with him. ) Jesus, Wyatt!

( he's laughing though, trying to shove wyatt off so he can get up. just a bit before he's tackling his son and hugging him so tightly wyatt may find it hard to breathe. )

Good to see you too, kiddo.

[ Hunter's really goddamn strong. Stronger than Wyatt, stronger than any regular werewolf. It makes his hug tight even though he's in human form.

Wyatt has a paw on his shoulder, and he nuzzles in to lick his face and neck. Then, all of a sudden, he's shifting human himself, and Hunter will find his arms full of a delighted, naked teenager. ]

Took you long enough! You made me miss you, man.

[ What a terrible accusation. Wyatt hugs him tightly again, grinning before finally pulling back. ]
