Characters: Vex & you
Summary: It's been 20 days since Vex arrived in Xistentia, and nobody has seen or heard from Mark in all this time (for you animal-types, his scent is completely faded from Vex by now). It may be time to broach the subject or just hang out with the obviously in-denial fae. If you're a stranger to Vex, or don't know him that well, you may want chill with him on his beach-view porch, he's got cold beers. Ping
thefacelessevil if you want a special starter.
Date(s): June 18th, or dates approximately around then.
Warnings/Notes: death is a prevalent subject, some smut.

OPTION I
Vex's native look hadn't changed much since he first arrived, mainly because it was easier to hand-wash one set of clothes rather than a full wardrobe. He wasn't particularly in the mood to be vain, anyway. His routine hadn't varied much as he still felt more than a little overwhelmed and lost, as such he would go into town for supplies, occasionally scout the area, but in the late afternoons he'd watch the sunset in one of his porch chairs and a cold beer in hand.
He could see him out there in the sand, Mark had always loved the beach. Whether he was running around as a panther or a fae, kicking his feet in the waves, or relaxing in the hot sand, Vex saw him as if he were real. He never tried to go out to interact with the visions, he had a feeling he would spoil them or, even worse, they would disappear- like he had in the portal less than a second after Vex lost his grip on his hand.
If he was greeted while in this state it make take him a moment to hear or see, as he was so lost in this fantasy world that reality was very difficult to grasp. His daemon sat by the edge of the deck, a black short-haired cat with unnatural blue eyes which peered out at the ocean.
OPTION II
It was raining, but Vex did his shopping despite the weather. At least it was warm rain, though without an umbrella it soaked his clothes and made his flip-flops sound rather squishy as he walked. He didn't seem to care how much water he was tracking inside the buildings, even though which now had proper shopkeepers. Feel free to scold him for being so careless, or perhaps help him gather supplies.
Even better, offer him a drink and he may actually open up for more than only smalltalk.
OPTION III
Choose your own adventure! Vex can be encountered almost anywhere and he's always got his daemon with him, so go wild if you wish.

She takes a little step back before she turns her head towards Meow Meow or more specifically, the trash bin he's trying to climb into. It's not graceful by any means but she moves to whistle and instead of it being something average, it's powerful, a siren's whistle and the brief burst of sound is enough to knock the trash bin and the daemon over.]

You got your reward! [ He almost whooped the words as he grabbed her to spin her around in an exuberant embrace- happiness which he hadn't been able to feel in a long time. This might have made the umbrella go flying, but he didn't pay attention to that sort of thing- the rain seemed to be letting up a little anyway, it slowed to a drizzle. ]
You're a flippin' fae!
no subject
That's me. [ She says smugly.] Although I'm pretty far from an expert with my powers. I've broken a few windows.

Now we can repopulate the entire city with our fae spawn! [ He joked, knowing full well that she knew he was sterile- unless she'd forgotten, in which case the joke would be even funnier. ]
Found a place to stay yet? Need a couch to squat on? I've got an alright one, not too many lumps.

[ When he asked if she had a place to stay, she shook her head, glancing at him a little hopefully.] Not yet, [ Which means she slept on the streets last night, like she had when she was younger. She didn't like that desperate feeling, especially after living in the lap of luxury because of Vex in Eudio.]
It can't be worse than the couch in the Crack House.
no subject
I suppose I could be persuaded to graduate you from the couch to the bed~ [ Because that was a lot more fun to focus on than any sort of depressing implications her current standard of living had. ]
no subject
But my tiny ass can fit on any couch.

But it's so much fun to pretend we are awkward teenagers! [ He insisted with a cheeky grin while he let her go, and briefly gave the damp cheeks of her face a caress with both of his hands. His wedding ring briefly caught his eyes, but they were quick to focus back on her. ]
Couch it is then! Wanna go back now or did ya wanna grab a bite to eat here?
no subject
I'd like to go dry off, wouldn't you? Also we need to fix your wardrobe.
no subject
Bugger the wardrobe, this is our last shot sweetheart, didn't you hear? [ A statement that was very unlike Vex, who did his mascara perfectly even when the Garuda was breathing down his neck. ] Besides, I won't cry if I get troll blood all over this getup. [ That was a bit more like him, though. ]
C'mon. [ He took her hand and led her towards one of the buildings, to a liquor store where he'd been headed in the first place. It was still abandoned and had been gone through a multitude of times but he always seemed to find something new every time he came. ] I came into town for just the essentials, you see. [ ha ha. ]
