So we are all here to "save the world". I don't suppose anyone has any idea on how to do that? Or better yet, how far along we are in terms of saving it? 30%? Though I imagine I am being generous with that number.

Alternatively, what do you do all day, bereft of a home?

We're all here to save our individual worlds, I don't think they tally it as a total for all. ( it wouldn't be very fair, when not every world here is represented... and likely would require a lot more people at work to heal an entire multiverse. )

What kind of things can you do? We need people who can fight.

( alec is curious now. )

Maybe the daemons could tally it if we asked. ( this is a computer system, after all. why couldn't it calculate that for them? )

It is, if you're willing to. We haven't had a direct attack yet, not one necessitating for us to fight, but I want to be prepared for it.

We need plans. If they're going to attack, civilians need to know where to go, where they'll be safe, and people have to be assigned to protect them.

Personal bodyguards isn't feasible or useful. But people knowing where to go for shelter is a good start. Assigning neighbourhood watchers to make sure no one is left behind, too.

( you're not telling him anything new, loki. back home, this is what he does, every day. )

The system I used to work for covered the entirety of New York with a few hundred of us and a well established system. We can make it work, if we work together and get organized.

Anyone who can and is willing to participate. ( pause. ) There's no real way to vet anyone.

We need all the help we can get. What sort of training do you have?

( don't worry, alec has extensive training in pretty much all weaponry too, save guns. always kind of sounds like he's bragging and yet just a fact. )

What about hand to hand? Any magic?

Alright. That's good to know. We'll need as many skills as possible, I think. We don't know what might come to us.

Nothing as organized as I'd like.

( that's hardly the issue, alec would claim. there aren't as many experienced fighters, less so used to organizing. )

So far we've had to do rescue missions in prison worlds. When people arrive, the crash site can be difficult. We haven't been invaded yet, but it's only a matter of time. I expect if any forces came onto the city the daemons would alert us, but we don't know how much in advance.

A prison world isn't leaving. It's a trap. You forget who you are. You have to track newcomers down and rescue them.

One. But it's a known D.E.S.T.I.N.Y. tactic, so there surely are more.
