I am still not sold on the principle. Does it not seem too . . . tame?

I lived in a place before this - Eudio - that ran on cuddle power too. That was tame.

[ Rose hadn't actually realized how much, honestly, until coming here and having the opportunity for adventure and excitement again. ]

But we recently went on an expedition to an island shown to us by a magic map. Seems a lot of people dealt with some stuff there was a bit more serious.

[ Loki mouths the words "cuddle power" to himself before pinching his nose. But the mention of magic has his ears perked in interest. ]

A magic map? What kind of magic?

You can ask Vanyel for the details, probably, but he won some ink at the fair we had a month or so ago. Whenever he tried to use for anything, it just made a map of an island a little ways from where we are.

So I guess the ink is more magic than the map, maybe? I don't know if it does anything else.

Liquid can be imbued with the properties of magic. I suppose I must see it for myself to know.
