Mischief does not exist for the sake of trust. Mischief exists to make life a little more lively, to add colour to the seams. Of course, it is not for everyone.

I never had time for such things.

I spend it preparing.

For what? Inevitability?

If one does not prepare for a fight they know is coming they often lose.

It sounds like your entire life is preparing for fights.

I have known nothing else.

Then when it ends, as all things do, what will your life be?

A feat of survival.

The place I was in before here, it promised an incentive to help them. I was going to have a normal life, one normal and mortal life.
That is beyond me now it seems. It is all rather pointless once a human has lived this long alone.

Well yes. Everything seems pointless after a large stretch of time.

Why let others dictate those points for you?

I suppose it was complicated by the fact that if I touched anyone they would die. It was easier to live alone and prepare.

Can you control it?

The place I was in before this place had a way to nullify it and so it remains as such here.

I could not control it before, though. Before I knew it when it presented I killed my entire family.

Where does it stem from?

[deathstouch]

The Tah ro games the gods began. One doesn't exactly know it's happening until at some point in the teenage years and then powers start presenting and shortly after an apocalyptic event signals the beginning of the game in earnest.

Poor planning then. A good enough reason.

How can one plan for something they don't know is possible?

Gods usually know what they are doing. Rarely do effects occur without their permission.

They were careless. Humanity is nothing but pawns of a game for entertainment to them.

[dothelokimotion]

Yes. But I wonder if that was the sole limit of their carelessness.

What exactly do you mean by that?

[dothelokimotion]

I mean that Gods are difficult to divine. I am not saying they do not make mistakes, but they rarely allow such things to happen beyond their control.
