I mean nothing says we can't, I was just a little eager to see someone adapted to the water as well as I am.

Sushi does sound nice! I'd offer to cook but I'd rather your first experience here not be a stomach ache brought on by my attempts in the kitchen.

Long version: I saved my friend's daughter from swimming too far out at sea, and she taught me how to switch between being a squid and being a human!

It's been... an adventure, to put it mildly!

It's likely because you don't associate "giant tentacled animal"
with being "nice"! Tales of the "terrors of the sea" are still fresh in people's minds, after all.

Even if they didn't care about me, I just wanted to make sure they got home to their families!
