WHAT ARE YOUR SQUID MEASUREMENTS?
THERE ARE A VARIETY OF SPECIES IN MY WORLD. THE ONES PEOPLE TEND TO FRY UP MEASURE LESS THAN A FOOT.
NOT TO BE A JERK, BUT I THINK THAT FACT IS UNAVOIDABLE AT THIS POINT.

I'm well aware that humans like to eat seafood! You're not being a jerk at all, just factual.

(Besides, I'm hardly one to talk. I ate everything smaller than me when I was in the ocean! ... Except for people. People are not food.)

I'm about 10 meters, I believe? I don't know what that translates into feet, unfortunately.

It's likely because you don't associate "giant tentacled animal"
with being "nice"! Tales of the "terrors of the sea" are still fresh in people's minds, after all.

Even if they didn't care about me, I just wanted to make sure they got home to their families!

I was referring to the people that I lived among while being a lady. The other townsfolk didn't much appreciate what Abigail did for me.
