What language will this contract be written in? I admittedly still have trouble with Earth's common alphabet.

Is the book primarily about a brachiosaurus? If so that would explain why its friend are all dead: it killed them.

English seems to be the same as Eorzean common - it is just the alphabet that is quite different. Perhaps I shall use this as the final push I need to memorize it.

No, but they are horrifically easy to anger and quite enjoy stomping on things, and knocking hapless adventures into the abyss with their tails.

An unfortunate amount, yes.

It's similar enough that I can recognize some letters, but not all. I have not taken the time to completely decipher it though imagine it would not take long.

The Latin alphabet is easy enough to use.

Latin. One of the earlier languages used on Midgard many centuries ago before it dispersed in a variety of different forms. The Norsemen who had our patronage often spoke in this tongue.
