[ Ignacio smiles as he accepts the call, and takes in the sight of his gift against Loki's skin. His long, pale neck was already quite attractive and the accessory only enhanced it. ]

Thank you, it suits you. How fortunate am I, that my tribute was accepted by a god.

[ Loki's fingers stroke the metal. ]

Yes. It's not often I find one so fitting.

I do not know much of your mythology, forgive me, but I seemed to remember something about serpents. Was I right?

To some degree. It is a form I use, though not as frequently these days.

I have that form as well. However, I more commonly travel as a wolf. I believe that is another animal associated with you, is it not?

[ Loki shrugs. ]

There are many animals aligned with the Trickster totem, though not all are my purview.

Which do you prefer?

[ he asked, his own green eyes curious as he wished to learn more about this interesting so-called god. ]

[ Loki glances at him briefly. ]

Birds. I like the idea of flight.

You only like the idea? Have you not experienced it for yourself?

It is one of the more trickier forms. I can, but I have not made a habit of it.

I enjoy a bat, myself. Which do you prefer?

I am fond of the kestrel. The ones on Asgard had gold tips on the ends of their wings.

Does it hold a special meaning for you or is it for the aesthetic value?

Most Asgardian things hold special value now. They've all passed on.

[ Ignacio looked startled at that. ]

... all? Loki, your people are gone?

[dothelokimotion]

They perished not long ago. Save for a handful, we are all that's left of our world.

[sadico]

I... cannot even imagine. Was this due to Destiny?

[dothelokimotion]

No.

[ A pause. ]

My sister.

[sadico]

But why? Why would she destroy all of your people?!

[ He realized his voice was getting too loud, too much. He closed his eyes in an attempt to calm himself, and rose his hand in apology. ]

Forgive me. I am asking far too much of you. Your affairs are your own.

I did not mean to speak of such a somber subject.

[ Hmm. Loki makes a note of it. ]

She had her own plans. And she was not one to brook disagreements.

[ It was then that Ignacio fell silent. It was a silence that dragged before before he finally spoke again. ]
