Mandy's is looking a bit festive this evening. Arrayed with spiderwebs, pumpkins, and other ghoulish decorations, the interior resembles a spooky haunted house. Spooky, not scary! Everyone's invited to stop by and celebrate All Hallow's Eve with spirited drinks, excellent company, and a lot of that Magnus flair.

You can loosen up on the dance floor to Monster Mash, Thriller, Dead Man's Party, or maybe something from this list. The spooky sky's the limit! Visit the bar for one of several special drinks you won't soon forget. You can also sample some tasty and holiday-appropriate baked goods, courtesy of the other Mr. Lightwood-Bane. Finally, stop by the table with the MAGIC 8 BALL to learn a little more about your fellow partygoers.

Siren Song
If you're a little tone-deaf, don't fret. This drink will turn you into a master at serenading. It won't actually give you the ability to influence anyone via magical means, but maybe if your song choice is apt, you'll woo someone either way!

Firework!
A drink that comes with a portable fireworks show hovering over its surface. Drinking it will give you the sensation of ingesting liquid pop-rocks.

Blacklight
Does what it says on the tin and makes the drinker glow under a black light. It's also kind of sour.

Frankenstein's Monster
This drink is quite shocking. Not dangerously so, but when you drink it, you'll have the impression of getting a tingling little jolt of electricity down your spine. It's aliiiiive.

To Be or Not To Be (A Daemon)
Drink this and you will find you've been magically swapped with your daemon. It only lasts ten minutes, but hey! You'll get to see how the other half lives. A note: you won't inherit one another's abilities!

Congratulations to our costume contest winners!

In first place for individual costumes...

Rafa wins for his devilish costume and he'll be awarded 2 potions: the first of which will up his luck stat, granting him good fortune in an endeavor (it says "Deal with the Devil" on the bottle) and the second will up his persuasion stat, helping him to be more successful in an argument (it says "The Devil's Advocate" on the bottle).

In second place for individual costumes...

Nico plunders the second place spot and will be given a treasure chest full of chocolates that are rum flavored. Careful, they pack a bit of a punch and when consumed, they'll make whoever eats them feel especially happy. No sad drunks here!

In third place for individual costumes...

Zeke and his amazingly sunny costume are in third and he wins a sunflower plant that will never cease to bloom and seems to have a bit of a glow about it. Plus, perpetual supply of sunflower seeds?

In first place for couples costumes...

Magnus and Alec came first for their portrayal of... each other... and they win a pair of seemingly mundane t-shirts that say "Bennet" and "Darcy" on them. What's that about?

In second place for couples costumes...

Vex and Kenzi delighted with their take on the Addams' family patriarch and matriarch and won second place. As a prize, Kenzi will be given a shampoo and conditioner set that seems pretty innocuous until you check out the writing on the bottles: 'Have YOU ever wanted hair like Cousin Itt? Are you ever in luck!' Just a small amount will make her locks lustrous and smooth. Vex will be given a very lifelike and animated hand in a box.

In third place for couples costumes...

Rose and Kaz were drop dead gorgeous in their mafia-inspired garb. As prizes, they will receive the following: for Rose, a pair of magical die that make music when thrown, and for Kaz, a set of playing cards that are intricately illustrated with astonishing art that seems to move. Watch out for the face cards, they get very opinionated about your playing. They both also receive a chip that can be relinquished to Magnus for a small magical favor.

Still, I suppose we will have to agree to disagree on this matter. I don't much feel like debating during what's supposed to be a more enjoyable affair. Perhaps another time.

[ Darlene listened closely, her eyes trained on Tony as he goes about explaining the suit to her — and for as drunk as she is, she manages to keep up with the whole explanation fairly well. It doesn't make complete sense to her, but she's also aware that it's not supposed to.

Her manner of weaponry is far less tangible, but equally as destructive. And when in the right environment, lies right at the tips of her fingers the same way that Tony's does.

(And it's a weird thing for Darlene to feel like there's so much common ground between them. She'd always assumed that herself and guys such as this couldn't have been further apart on the spectrum.)

(Once again, the multiverse had a very twisted sense of humor.) ]

Impressive, Mr. Stark. [ Darlene snorts softly in more drunken amusement. ] Well, as long as you get me back to my place all in one piece, I'll be sure to leave you a stellar review on Yelp.

Bombs? [he asks incredulously, eyes widening with bewilderment this time.] That sounds awfully dangerous.

[Propping one arm up onto the bar, he crosses the other over it, sets his elbow up, and drops his cheek into his hand. His attention is still on the exuberant fish-man, though, tail flicking back and forth.] He's also lucky, you know? You're an amazing person, Sidon.

Uhhh ... [Well, coming off looking like a gaping fish hadn't been the plan, but here they are.

Besides, what else can he say except for repeating:] I don't know?

Amazing, [he breathes.] Absolutely fantastic!

[The azure skinned boy clasps his hands, settling them beneath the curve of his neck.] I wonder, being here on Xistentia, if I'll ever get to see a dragon. I'm not sure they exist back in my world.

['Taken aback' doesn't quite describe Kurt's reaction; he appears a little shocked, mostly by Wyatt saying his eyes changing is cool, but he is somewhat confused, too.]

You think so? [he inquires quietly.] What color are they now?

[Please, don't say red. Even though he's more then positive that's their exact color, at the moment.

They're closer now and as he thinks about it, this is sort of like a box step-- a basic waltz. He hums thoughtfully, offers Wyatt the slightest grin and shifts, makes the movements a little wider.] I'm rather well-versed in ballroom and hip-hop dancing. I would like to learn other styles, too.

[ He blinks. ]

[His brows rise at the word 'gods', but meeting at least one in Eudio leaves him more inclined to believe it. And his gaze flicks over Loki from head to toe even after hearing it because, well... damn, son.]

[which makes it the perfect time for kavinsky to take another step forward, his knee bumping into the mutant's knee, back in his personal space, seeing if he can get kurt to take a step back. then another step back. there's a table not too far behind him, and then he'll have nowhere to go.]

[ Wyatt, oblivious, speaks honestly. ]

Red! That's totally cool.

[ After all what possible reason could Kurt have to be embarrassed about it? Wyatt follows Kurt's movements now, pleased he's coming out of himself a little more. ]

I know, like, nothing about ballroom. Or hip-hop. They're pretty different though, right? How do you know them?

[ Rafa doesn't flinch, but tilts his head a little. His dark eyes soften. ]

I think I do not know you as well as I would like. I knew another you, in another world and another time. I will not assume you are the same as he.

I like you, whether it is odd or not. Others are entitled to be wrong. It makes no difference to me.

[ Rafa nods, while a little smile tugs at his lips. The other lessons, yes. ]

I can do that. Come to me when you are ready, and we shall begin.

You have Yelp to? [his voice sounds indulgently exasperated. He reaches up to fiddle the mask over his head, tapping on a corner, making sure the seal is tight.] Maybe we should let D.E.S.T.I.N.Y. take over. Could be what the Multiverse deserves, if this is what we're doing with it.

[But even if Tony Stark is making a stupid joke about nihilism and the end of the universe, he's not about to pull out of giving her a ride. One metal arm swizzes up behind her, at the small of her back, and his fingers close around her waist. His other arm goes behind her knees. It's an effortless motion, the way he lifts up beneath her, supporting her off the floor. She's nearly weightless given the mechanical advantage of the suit.]

Try not to barf on yourself, [he suggests, as he navigates them out of the bathroom. It isn't far to the club's exit, and outside, the cold gulf of darkness that is the deep autumn night.] After all this is over, they're still going to need you to fight the Man.

Not being sarcastic about that. Really.

[ He falters, caught off guard. ]

I don't know what it is you see.

I could-- wait, from people?

[ Not from animals? Link looked shocked again, then suddenly confused. If Rafa accepted blood from people for his machine then why-- ]

Is there something wrong with mine?

[ Maybe that was a dumb question, but he was always being asked for odd favors so it made him wonder why Rafa didn't ask him for his blood. ]

[ Link was about to offer his hand, but it looked like his new-found friend had it handled. Very speedy too!

The question made him shake his head, his veil swaying slightly. ]

No, I've never heard of that. I'm aware that the royals often ask for space, but I'm just a soldier. You just seemed so--

[ A smile began to tug on his lips. ]

You threw yourself away from me!

[ He didn't start laughing, he didn't want to embarrass Kurt any further but he was clearly close to it. ]

[ in that case, nico gently guides wyatt to a corner, making sure the shadows cloak them as he mouths more against wyatt's jaw. then, with one hand, he slides it down wyatt's bare chest to slide into his firefighter pants, hoping to cup him with his palm. ]

Yes, I did. And I'm glad I was right.

[ Peter studies the bottle for a few moments, staring at the label without actually reading it -- his mind is wandering on an entirely different train of thought: the fact that he'd never been to many parties, the fact that Leo seemed like the type of person who would have actually been invited to parties, the fact that he has no clue what he might do under the influence of too much alcohol.

Or any alcohol at all. ]

[ Peter grins as Leo's finger lights up, giving a firm nod at his question. ] Don't worry about me, I can handle it.

[ And with that, he takes a big swig from the bottle before handing it off to Leo, his face contorting slightly at the flavor. ]

[His features crease with confusion, head tipping to the side.]

[ Loki is generally paranoid. If people asked something of him, his automatic reaction would be suspicion. He enjoys his curiosity and indulges it, but a lot of it is born from a need to protect himself from everything and everyone. ]

I suppose it is a point of curiosity, though I doubt many would offer that freely.

True enough. [He all but purrs in agreement, stealing a quick kiss before sinking gracefully to his knees. His hands keep trailing up and down her thighs until he's settled down there, nails grazing ever-so-lightly in combination with the warm tingle of his magic. The scent of her fills his nose and a shiver of anticipation runs down his spine. He's always loved this, especially loves doing it for her, and the thrill of being in a semi-public place on top of that...

He's aroused enough already that the idea of just tearing her panties off her holds a definite appeal, but on the other hand... going back to the party afterward and knowing she was walking around without them might honestly drive him mad.
