[ Aymeric doesn’t too often address the populace. When it comes to matters of informing people of the disparity between Hydaelyn and the more common world of ‘earth,’ Era is often the one to take the helm there. This topic, however, is one very near and dear to his heart and so he wanted to be the one to share.

He is even dressed for the occasion accordingly. In the background of their shared apartment, Era can be seen moving in and out of the screen and hoisting decorations up on the walls. Anima is excitedly flying to and fro as Haurchefantd helps to pass things to them and Era; Emeraldd bats playfully at a low-hanging string of greens. Wreaths and colorful baubles, lights and bells. Anyone looking on might think they’re Christmas decorations, but he’s here to set the record straight. They’re not. Though he isn’t about to deny there are some similarities, which is actually a bit of a comfort.

Something to help bridge that distance between himself and others here. ]

Hello, denizens of Xistentia. While usually it is Era who informs about our world of Hydaelyn in contrast to those that you come from, seeing as how this specific topic is rooted in Isghardian lore it seemed only right that I was the one to speak on it. Most people here seem to celebrate a similar holiday called ‘Christmas,’ but ours is actually known as the Starlight Celebration.

[ He clears his throat and begins to talk in a low, calm tone as he tells a story that obviously means quite a bit to him. ]

Starlight Celebration is something that I have enjoyed since as far back as I can remember and it pleases me to see so many things reminiscent of it here. [ Perhaps the closest the man will get to admitting so openly that he’s just a touch homesick again, especially so during this time of year. ]

Hi there, I'm MiaD and I'm giving my charge Thea Queen a break on going public via Synchr for now since the bruises are nobody's idea of fun. But she's new and needs friends or at least info on anyone that could be around with ties to Starling City, she's worried about her brother especially.

[Vanyel has apparently gotten his daemon's cooperation for a change, because the first panning shot (several different maps, all in the same blue ink, apparently showing an island off the coast of Xistentia) is slow and smooth, and Zeymahd isn't even grumbling about it.

Finally, the camera comes to rest on the latest map, ink still glistening wetly on the parchment. It holds for a long moment, as if maybe the daemon is reading over it himself. Then comes a tapping, off-screen but very close to the camera, and it swings up so that Vanyel is in the shot too.]

This is my prize from one of the fair games, evidently. [He says, then grins.] So - who's up for a bit of exploring?

Good evening, people of Xistentia, [ he greets, polite as ever. All business, blue eyes not quite as bright as some might remember. ] I know Era had addressed the public before about our departure, so it only seemed fitting that I was the one to announce our return.

While our leave was voluntary, being brought back was not. Though from my understanding, it was necessary. 'Twould seem F.A.T.E.S. was only able to subvert our world's destruction at D.E.S.T.I.N.Y.'s hand for a limited time. I am of the belief that what we're doing here is working for those of you who might be concerned with the restoration of your homeworlds. To what degree, however, is possibly dependant on factors I am not yet aware of.

I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have about our experience if it's possible that it might assist in understanding our situation here in Xistentia better.

Systems Alliance, come in. This is Lieutenant Commander Shepard of the SSV Normandy reporting.

The planet I've landed on is habitable. In fact, there are others here in the same position as me, though it appears all trace of the crew and ship are MIA. That -- probably means I'm the MIA one. I can only hope you're all still together, and in a beneficial situation. Planetary life here seems peaceful to some degree, but I'll stick to the book if it's necessary. I'm documenting plant life, animal genuses, and physical terrain, so you can expect some good reading whenever we meet up again.

Don't sweat. I'm fighting for Earth still, and I'll be back in the line of fire before you know it. Keep yourselves safe, be smart. Unite the alien races, you know the drill. Earth has its eyes on you, and humanity needs us.

Worst Job(s) Held: That might be a toss-up between escorting a ship full of animal droppings through enemy waters and nearly anything involving politics. At least the former was a one-way trip (to the bottom of the ocean, but nonetheless). I got less muck on my shoes, too.

Best Job(s) Held: Transportation adviser to the queen of France. Club owner in multiple universes. I did a brief turn as a private investigator, trench coat and all. Oh, speakeasy operator! No trench coat for that one.
