My friends, brothers and sisters in arms, fellow refugees - I need your assistance in settling an argument.

[ here's thor, with a starkly different haircut from last anyone saw him, standing before the camera looking a little more relaxed and a little more mischievous these days. maybe this whole thing is half him genuinely trying to win an argument with loki, and half him just being a little shit, because that's what brothers are for.

and it's nice to actually be a brother again. but we're not talking about that. we're just embarrassing loki. here we go. ]

My dearest, gentle, shy brother, Loki, seems to believe I never approve of his choice in lovers. Likely because his choice lovers are typically either lunatics, or unbearably obnoxious. I think it's his approach to the whole ordeal, so I thought I might do the worthy brotherly thing, and lend him something of a hand.

[ provided she isn't killed in battle earlier, she only has maybe six more decades in her if she's lucky - definitely not enough time to learn as much! ]

If ever you have a lingering injury that your constitution cannot handle, feel free to contact me and I will gladly heal you. The same goes for Loki as well, should he ever need it.

Sometimes a change is nice, and I imagine you have more than enough centuries to grow it out again. Hopefully if short hair becomes a trend in Asgard your people will have a more skilled hair stylist than you did.

Would you be interested in a spar in the near future? The personal issue you advised me on has been settled, so my focus is no longer split.

You'd think after the first couple centuries we'd expand our fields.

[ but nope. thor's still a warrior, loki's still a sorcerer, asgard's still a shiny palace in space. or, well, was. point being, he could use some new tricks. ]

That's a generous offer, Lady Era, I'll be sure to take you up on it should the need arise. I doubt we've seen all the battles this world has to come yet.

The change is... interesting. Perhaps I'll grow to like it. I don't think it's possible to find a worse stylish in the known universe, so it's safe to say the worst is behind us.

I'd love a spar, and I'm glad to hear you've found a resolution with your friend. As Loki's keen to see the magical skill you bring from your world, I'm eager to learn what you practice in combat.

There is always still time to do so.

We will need to have numerous spars if I am to showcase the full range of my fighting styles. Somehow I doubt that you will find much issue with this.

Is tomorrow suitable for you?

True enough. We're all still learning.

[ for instance, thor and his new hammerless lightning. thunder god as he is, he's still far from mastered. no where near the king of asgard he's replacing. ]

It's one thing I doubt I'll ever tire of. Tomorrow would be perfectly fine, and I look greatly forward to it.
