two "truths" and a lie. ( daemon: d. )
Preferred Alias: Kaz Brekker.
- Before I landed here, I was hunted as a Grisha who could read minds.
- My hands are disfigured, so I always wear gloves.
- I inherited five million kruge when my parents died.

The Grisha are practitioners of some ancient magic, or are gifted with powers in their blood to shape the world — depends who you ask.

You mentioned mind-reading. Does that mean there are other ways to use the power a Grisha can possess?

Grisha can go a few things: heal people, or alter someone's features, or move metal, or control water. I don't really know all the categories, and some of it depends on how strong they are in the first place. I imagine some heartrenders can't even manage to inflict shortness of breath, but I've seen others tear swathes through a group of men.

Very diverse abilities then. And not totally understood by most people, but their existence is fairly common knowledge?

you seem like a pretty spiffy possibly rich dude
so i'm going to guess 1
because if you could read my mind, I'd have probably realized
probably
but i'm like 90% sure that's the lie
no subject
You're right. 1 is a lie. I can't read minds. My life would be a lot easier if I could.

What do I win?
also I think it'd be easier but maybe boring too?
it can be frustrating sometimes not knowing what people are thinking, but if you ALWAYS knew then it'd take the fun out of getting to know people!

As for what you win, I didn't realize I should include a prize. Tell me what you'd like.

Most of the time.
Is it not for you?
[ Don't say that, Kaz. Her mind cycles through, like, at least five inappropriate things to answer with before she decides it's probably better to just. Not. ]
Uh
「(°ヘ°)
How about... your time!
Just a little bit.

An expensive reward indeed. All right.
[ also he's just not. answering. that first question. the answer seems too complicated to try and write down where anyone can see it. ]

Disfigured hands. Am I right?

I'm just curious if it's more than a random guess.

I've never heard of a grisha or a kruge, and given we're all from different worlds, that means there's more of a chance they're true
Then you said disfigured, but unless we're only talking about looks, gloves wouldn't be enough to hide it
If it were about looks, I don't think you'd draw attention to it here. The only scars I'd tell people about are the ones I want them to see.
no subject
You're right, of course. If I was disfigured I wouldn't use it as part of a game, especially not if I spent so much time covering it.
no subject
Can I ask about the things I didn't know? Grisha especially
Are you one?
no subject
[ He's very glad Magnus has helped him establish that terminology. ]
I can't actually read minds. It would be useful if I could, I imagine, if only for the wealth of information, when everyone here is a stranger.
