Systems Alliance, come in. This is Lieutenant Commander Shepard of the SSV Normandy reporting.

The planet I've landed on is habitable. In fact, there are others here in the same position as me, though it appears all trace of the crew and ship are MIA. That -- probably means I'm the MIA one. I can only hope you're all still together, and in a beneficial situation. Planetary life here seems peaceful to some degree, but I'll stick to the book if it's necessary. I'm documenting plant life, animal genuses, and physical terrain, so you can expect some good reading whenever we meet up again.

Don't sweat. I'm fighting for Earth still, and I'll be back in the line of fire before you know it. Keep yourselves safe, be smart. Unite the alien races, you know the drill. Earth has its eyes on you, and humanity needs us.

Not to my knowledge, but it seems to be gaining popularity here! I had a spiked shake the first day I arrived in the city.

On the first day? I'm impressed. You must be a very relaxed person.

Well, moreso after the alcoholic milkshake, I'm sure! That might not be off the mark though, no.

Oh! Where are my manners? I got very absorbed in alcohol and milkshakes, but my name is Magnus. It's a pleasure, Lieutenant Commander.

Pleasure's all mine, Magnus. It's good to hear from some friendly people.
Which milkshake do you recommend?

Let's see. Do you like peanut butter?

I've only ever had space peanut butter, if you know what that is. But it was pretty good, from what I remember.

[lacquers]

Space peanut butter? I can think of a few possible definitions, if I'm being honest. But! If you like it, I recommend trying a peanut butter shake with some bourbon.

[upside]

It's freeze dried. Very crunchy.
Peanut butter and bourbon sounds like a winning duo. Maybe I'll catch you there sometime?

[lacquers]

That would add some extra crunch, wouldn't it?

In that case, I hope you find it a delightful flavor combination. I do spend a decent amount of time there, so perhaps our paths will cross, hm? You'll have to let me know how you like the drinks!

You sound like you've got a sweet tooth. I'll let you have my professional review once I visit, as a sweet tooth myself.

I guess that would be a pretty accurate assessment, yes! I'll look forward to that review. Oh, and if you get any new ideas, you should share them with the proprietor! We've already expanded the menu there a little. [ It's true. From milkshakes with no alcohol to milkshakes with. Much expansion. ]

I'll have to get used to human booze again, but I've got an idea in my head involving banana ice cream and rum.
