Summary: Barclay and Kenzi have moved into a lighthouse home, and are throwing a housewarming. Everybody is invited— via Meow Meowd, Kenzi's daemon. Have drinks! Make merry! There are 3 unused bedrooms to abuse, and for those of you with magic, the oceanside location could definitely use some warding/fortification if D.E.S.T.I.N.Y. should ever come.

Welcome to casa del Kenzi and Barclay, a beautiful oceanside lighthouse with a spacious attached home! Behold, there's a rooftop lounge breathing bright in the open air, a living room with sprawling windows, and two spare bedrooms, all of it in an interesting mix of blue and purple walls within the spacious interior. Check it out! The furniture and decor consist of both modern and vintage choices. Put together, it's as odd a fit as the couple who lives there now.

You might be relieved to know that the raccoon and possum running around are just their daemons. It's pretty clean overall! After all they were expecting guests.

It would appear that Kenzi and Barclay absconded with every bit of alcohol that spawned in the city of Xistentia. You have blue gin, whisky that glows, vodkas in various bottles both plastic and glass, a half-dozen tasteful cognacs, and a range of beers including something in a clay pot that smells rather interesting.

If you're here to drink and/or make new friends, this would be the place. You can also, however, offer to help your hosts with magical wards and protections, considering they're out here on the beach, not far from where newcomers tend to crash and allegedly overlooking the ocean D.E.S.T.I.N.Y. will someday come. (Alternatively, tell them they're daft for taking the risk, however small.) It's gloriously peaceful right now, though.

So maybe what you should really be doing is to go for a swim in the blue water. There's at least one pirate who will race you, and a reformed lady thief who probably won't be going through your pockets if you left your clothes ashore.

Also give them presents. They love presents.

[ See Kenzi be domestic, it's like watching a happy, fat tiger in a cage. A huge cage that is exactly to her liking with the best looking mate a tiger can ask for. Kenzi is rolling around in domestic bliss.

Yeah, so maybe it's a bit dumb to be this close to all the action and not somewhere with a better vantage point but LOOK AT THE PLACE AND TELL KENZI NO. Also, Kenzi feels like she's doing good by helping people who stumble into their world whenever she sees them.

Whatever.

She'll be greeting everyone at the party, serving drinks, drinking drinks, she might be convinced to show off her siren powers (you know how she can placate, control, banish, kill, heal, and alleviate pain with her voice) once she brags about having it. Also she may or may not show off her ability to steal thing stealthily off a person, without them ever noticing, thanks to Dyson training her in how to be a Shadow Thief.

So if your wallet is missing, it's totally just a prank. Totally.]

[ Vex, for once, was not the life of the party. He dressed plainly, or at least plain in comparison to some of the outfits he was known for before he was dumped in Xist, and seemed to avoid people for the most part.

As such, you'd find him partaking generously of the provided alcohol and frequently staring out the window to the ocean. What was so important out there? Nothing anyone else could see. It was likely just that he had a thousand other things on his mind and a party wasn't one of them.

Still, he showed up to support his friend and that was good enough right? Better than the average dark fae anyway... Feel free to pester him, just don't expect to get too much out of it. ]

[ nico isn't sure why he's here. he knows kenzi a little bit, but he doesn't know her boyfriend. still, the invite had come and nico figured he might as well go. if only for free food and drinks. he's considering sneaking a bit back to his and will's apartment, so he's standing by the drinks table, perusing what's available to kill some time.

he's left a gift of a black blanket, very cozy and warm and he knows because he has the same one on his and will's bed. hopefully kenzi and her boyfriend will appreciate it. ]

[ Hello, housewarming party, the excitement has truly arrived. With her two boyfriends, no less. Things are still a little noticeably tense between the ménage à trois but they're figuring it out. Rose splits off from them early enough, able to be found wistfully gazing out one of the many windows with a glass of wine in hand. There's a lot on her mind these days, honestly, about Eudio, Xistentia, and cute boys causing nothing but trouble. Not necessarily in that order.

She did bring a gift though for the happy couple and their new abode. It was more Farraige's idea than hers, what with his water-themed puns at any given opportunity. Still! She hopes they like it. Or, if they don't, she hopes it at least causes a smile to come to their faces at how absolutely ridiculous it is.

After a couple glasses of wine, she's gotten on a pink bikini. She seems less worried about revealing her scars than she used to be. But she isn't swimming just yet, instead opting to stare out at the waves as if she's assessing if she's brave enough to actually dive into them. Part of her wants to believe that she is, but hte other part is... unsure. It was only a couple months that she was trembling like a leaf at being in knee-high water, after all. ]

[ In lieu of an RSVP, Rafa arrives in Hunter's company, with an overlarge hamper of alcohol between them. In all fairness, it seems like there's plenty of that here already, but it's about the best gift Rafa knows to bring in this case. Besides, a party can always use more alcohol. He leaves the hamper with the other gifts, along with a note of thanks for inviting him.

Throughout the night, he can mostly be found mingling. There's usually a drink in his hand - typically gin or whisky, and he avoids the beer entirely.

After the sun sets, he ventures outside to swim in the sea. He will be pleasantly skinny dipping, which is possibly not a socially inclusive activity, but this is a beach and he didn't bring swimming shorts, so all modest eyes should look away now. His speed makes attempting to race him something of a non-starter, unless you happen to be sporting super speed of your own. If so, he'll more than welcome the challenge. ]
