Accurate As Hell, Huh?
[sheba's found that posting things without her owner's permission is amusing, especially when he reacts with sputtering and flushed cheeks.]
i didn't tell you to post this!
why must you have a mind of your own? [a brief pause.]
well, it isn't incorrect, though ...

not from turkey, no. germany is my homeland, but i was living in america before being brought here.
how interesting! have you ever thought about what it'd be like if you weren't?
or if you had been born a different species?
no subject
No, I have not, I am very happy how I am. What about you? Have you ever considered being different than you are now?
no subject
is that all you know or can you have full-on conversations?
mutant and proud is what we say! mutatis mutandis or "changing only those things which need to be changed" is even our school motto.
i have an item from a friend that makes me look different, though.
very convenient for sneaking missions.

[ And as if to prove that point, he texted that entire sentence in German. He continued to do so, as if he thought Kurt would prefer it that way. ]
It is good to hear that, to have pride in what you are. But I understand when a disguise may be necessary, especially around humans. "Sneaking missions" you say? Your school has missions?
no subject
i may not be the best tutor, but i could teach you a few things.
[he'll respond in german for now; it's mostly for ignacio's comfort, considering he'd mentioned not having complete command of english and all.
the little fluttery feeling kurt has in his stomach about speaking his native tongue with someone must be a coincidence, huh?]
it's an interesting magical item. useful, as i said, yet also stylish in a way that's not conspicuous.
sort of? we have a training room with simulations so we can practice combat, stealth and whatever else we might need to know for an actual mission.
no subject
Do you have it here?
I asked if your school has missions, you say "sort of" but then acknowledge that you prepare for actual missions. Is that less "sort of" and more "yes, we are a school that goes on missions"?
But that begs the question of why? Why does your school have "missions"?
no subject
the necklace?
if that's what you mean, then yes, i do.
it's a long story.
we're a school first, though we do train for missions because we are a team that protects people from threats.
the more prepared we are, the better we can handle the situation.
no subject
I see. You are protectors of mutantkind?
no subject
mutants, humans, animals ...
and whatever other sort of beings occupy the planet, we guard them.

teaching humans how to protect nature instead of harming it is one way, though there will always be some who refuse change.
there are ways to handle that, too.

even if it means being in disagreement with a vampire lord.]
perhaps that is most of the humans or many of them that you know.
i've seen otherwise and prefer not to damn someone before understanding their intentions.
no subject
You are 19 years old.
such affront iggy
and your point is?
he is just like PLS
When you observe humanity for a considerable amount of time, as I have, the only thing that you can be certain of is that they become more heinous to each other and the planet as time goes on.
the fetus does not understand craughs
mutants live longer than most humans, though. do you think they'll eradicate themselves in a hundred years or so?
[kurt can imagine a few people that would be thrilled with that outcome-- iggy being one of them, obviously.]
no subject
It may be in one hundred years, or one thousand years, but the earth will not be able to heal while humanity continues to drain and pollute her.
Perhaps you do not have to consider this as you will not live long enough to see it, but I do.
no subject
like water and wind powered machines instead of using oil.
what do you consider them? should they be destroyed, too?
or perhaps the scientists that have been trying to find ways to prolong plant life shouldn't be allowed to do that anymore?
the same could go for those that are working to bring animals that have been on the verge of extinction back from the edge.
i do consider it, but i also take the humans that are trying to fix things into account.

Too little, too late, and the masses are more concerned with what happens in their tabloids than the technological advances that will save their world, and those in power are obsessed with temporary monetary gain to sustain their selfish lifestyles for the short period of time that they live.
Perhaps if you were immortal you would understand the frustrations of observing an entire population focused only what is now instead of what will be.
no subject
regardless, though, he answers as calmly as he can manage over the network, positive that the metallic taste flooding his mouth is from biting his tongue.]
i guess it's a good thing i'm not immortal, then.
perhaps the humans will kill me for my kindness before i get a chance to understand they're selfishness.
no subject
Perhaps.
[ And he left it at that, because arguing with mortals was pointless. ]
