Preferred Alias: Clary
- When I was 13, I went to school picture day dressed as Sailor Moon.
- I've thrown up on Joss Whedon's shoes at a comic convention.
- I was given a month's worth of detention for filling a volcano full of glitter and sequins in science class and then letting it explode.

okay.
how do you feel about space vegas? there's bound to be one around here somewhere.
no subject
can we spend the honeymoon gambling our life savings away?
no subject
because if so then yes.
then we can spend our winnings on making more terrible volcanos.
no subject
fyi i'm making mine food based
the volcano not the pokemon

and duh, it was actually simon. he got so excited he barfed up his vendor burger.
it was intense.
no subject
I gotta make fun of him for that some day
Do I want to know what Sailor Moon is?
no subject
( Because they don't like each other!!! )
sailor moon is only the best anime in the universe.
you'd probably like it.
mamoru would be your kind of guy.

so I will have to guess the lie is number three.
Though if that is a truth, it must have been quite a spectacle. And I assume 'detention' is less severe than the kind of that I'm familiar with?
[ He is from ye oldy days Clary where that means imprisonment. ]
no subject
( Potentially because people are probably from animes here, but that's by the by to Clary. )
but nope! three is the truth, though in my defense we did get told we'd get points for originality and i was just using what i knew at the time.
( You have to find secret ways to rebel when your ... sort of father figure is a cop. )
detention's kind of like a time out? if you piss off a teacher or don't hand in your homework you get sent to it after school.
no subject
Or, at least, I have never heard of it.
[ He is v. sheltered. ]
I see.
That is much more mild than what I was thinking of.
But seems like a fair comeuppance for your actions, all things considered.
no subject
( They have music from her world, why not other media too? )
really?
i was bringing joy to the world with glitter and sparkly things.
is punishment for that actually fair?
( Yes. )

right?
i mean, okay, it wasn't my first glitter related offence.
but i was just trying to bring joy to the world.
no subject
Oh, now you have me curious about your history of glitter-related offenses, biscuit! You must have brought a lot of joy to the world.

mom had to ban it from the apartment once, because i thought it would be a good idea to cover the entire bath in it.
i think i was trying to be a mermaid.

The third sounds so outlandish that I think it might actually be true. Though how would one fill a volcano with glitter and sequins?
[ she knows it can't possibly be a full fledged volcano, but also has no clue how a person might have access to one of any kind. ]
no subject
that was a good guess!
but it wasn't a real volcano.
we had to make a model of one for a science fair. you know, paper mache, baking soda, the whole deal.
i just went a little wild with mine.

the students do a whole project on a topic of their choice.
it's supposed to be competitive because usually there's a prize.
paper mache is when you pulp paper and mould it together with an adhesive. not my favourite thing to do, but still fun most of the time.
and baking soda's like an ingredient i used to make the volcano foamy.

A month's worth of detention seems quite extreme a punishment, though. Is that the lie?
no subject
my teacher hated me.
or maybe he hated glitter.
but he definitely had a vendetta against something.
no subject
I am not sure which of the other two would be false, then.
no subject
mostly because i wasn't the culprit. my friend simon suffered that fate.
