[ give her a moment as she realizes that her daemon edited those titles in when she wasn't looking because she sure does need to take a few calming breaths. there is a reason she doesn't advertise her titles unnecessarily, and Emmy is very, very good at being a troll. ]

Pray ignore those additions, ser. My daemon enjoys trying my patience.

I'd like to say Odin's blood differs, but we've had our share of wars as well.
Is your father some spirit of the earth or nature?
Forgive me, I'm not the most well versed with Midgard's other legends.

How'd you learn about them?

Is Midgardian what you call Earth people? Why do you call us that?

[ A pause. He knows Thor doesn't want him hurt or dead, he knows Thor too well for that but a part of Loki still struggles with this. Thor who left him to Odin's judgement, who left him in the cells. Loki does not blame him for that, he cannot but a part of him stings all the same. Nothing is ever that clear cut between them anymore.

Or it is simply Loki, unable to believe, finds it easier to doubt. ]

and they're not really legends if they're true, now are they?

Or daemons seem to have that in common as well.

Always a pleasure to meet another skilled warrior. I carry an enchanted hammer into battle with me, crafted from the heart of a dying star. Swords, spears and lances all have great merit as well, but Mjolnir will always be my first choice.

And you? What's your favored means for battle?

I've yet to fight with a hammer. Is it not dissimilar from a greataxe, save for the lack of a blade?

My preferred combat classes are magical, though I am partial to greatswords. I am also skilled with all varieties of bladed weapons, spears and lances, bows, guns, and fists.

Does this question really need answering? We truly are in dire straits if that much isn't obvious.

[ how many times has he cried over him by now? not only in the moments of supposed death, but in separation alone. on midgard, when he'd been begging him to come home. thor isn't one to opening weep often, but loki's withdrawal from him had left his eyes plainly watering enough times one would think he'd be numb to it by now. not so. ]
