I asked if your school has missions, you say "sort of" but then acknowledge that you prepare for actual missions. Is that less "sort of" and more "yes, we are a school that goes on missions"?

we're a school first, though we do train for missions because we are a team that protects people from threats.
the more prepared we are, the better we can handle the situation.

How is that possible? Humans are the natural enemy of animals and nature. You cannot guard them both.

if handled correctly, why wouldn't we be able?
teaching humans how to protect nature instead of harming it is one way, though there will always be some who refuse change.
there are ways to handle that, too.

You would have an easier time attempting to control insects. Humans are chaotic and naturally selfish, they drain resources and use others. They reject what does not fit into their mold and destroy beauty in the name of temporary profit.

perhaps that is most of the humans or many of them that you know.
i've seen otherwise and prefer not to damn someone before understanding their intentions.

When you observe humanity for a considerable amount of time, as I have, the only thing that you can be certain of is that they become more heinous to each other and the planet as time goes on.

mutants live longer than most humans, though. do you think they'll eradicate themselves in a hundred years or so?

They destroy each other constantly. Unfortunately, they are taking our planet along with them. At this rate, they will eradicate all life then consume each other until nothing is left.

It may be in one hundred years, or one thousand years, but the earth will not be able to heal while humanity continues to drain and pollute her.

Perhaps you do not have to consider this as you will not live long enough to see it, but I do.

but there are humans who have come up with alternate solutions for their needs.
like water and wind powered machines instead of using oil.
what do you consider them? should they be destroyed, too?

or perhaps the scientists that have been trying to find ways to prolong plant life shouldn't be allowed to do that anymore?
the same could go for those that are working to bring animals that have been on the verge of extinction back from the edge.

i do consider it, but i also take the humans that are trying to fix things into account.

Humanity is attempting, poorly, to fix problems that they themselves caused.

Too little, too late, and the masses are more concerned with what happens in their tabloids than the technological advances that will save their world, and those in power are obsessed with temporary monetary gain to sustain their selfish lifestyles for the short period of time that they live.

Perhaps if you were immortal you would understand the frustrations of observing an entire population focused only what is now instead of what will be.
